Vintage Grounds is a charming vintage boutique located on Bathurst Street at Bloor. The store is small, clean, tasteful, well laid out and bursting with vintage goodness. They often have lovely displays in the window which may cause a goose neck effect so that you crank your neck not unlike in the movie "the exorcist" to see what the haps in the store is! There is a nice mixture of vintage/consignment clothing, accessories, leather bags, shoes, and some kitsch retro furniture. Prices appeared to be a little stiff for vintage merch, however, most likely reflective of the higher rental lease rates in the annex. The staff was lovely, effortlessly cool and very helpful! They had a really nifty Pan-Am vintage bag in the window display for a while and it made me want to be a flight attendant for Hallowe'en!
I recommend Vintage Grounds!

Cute place with a nicely curated collection. There's a mixture of authentic vintage with some stylized (untagged/homemade) pieces. It recently opened so there's currently a 30% off certain pieces sale (located at the back of the store). There are also some nice little accessories in the display case, as well as period hats. I love browsing around this place when I have time after work.
The prices are a little high compared to places on Queen West, but it might be because they're new. If items are missing pieces or have small stains they're willing to chat about price, which is nice. There are also some cheap stained or lightly torn pieces available at a huge discount. Great collection of dresses... but I'll probably beat you to it. :)
