Everything I could have hoped for.
My baby shower was held here, and it was perfect. Very classy, but not intimidating. The tea was great, accompanied by scones with Devonshire cream (fabulous) followed by tea sandwiches, and then select desserts. So great. I would love to go again just for tea with a friend. It's an experience, and so much nicer than just hitting Starbucks for a coffee.
Would highly recommend for baby showers, as its just perfect, but be warned that it can get a bit pricey when you are paying for 20+ people. The mom-to-be will be blown away though, so its worth it!
They also have a tea reader come in to read your tea leaves, although I am not sure when, or how much it is for the reading.

I organized a bridal shower here and have only good things to say! The owner is very sweet and accommodating. She is used to holding events and makes sure all the details are taken care of. If you want to hold an event here, just make sure to book several months in advance (especially in the summer), as they only are available one or two weekends per month. The capacity is around 30 people and for regular afternoon tea, it is about $25-30 per person, and you get the place to yourselves for 2 hours or so. She was really great letting me bring my own music to play and also making special gluten-free sandwiches for the bride, who has a gluten allergy. The place itself is very cute and old-fashioned. The china they use is very unique and pretty (everyone's dishes and tea cups are different)! They have a vast selection of loose leaf teas and each pot had a tea cozy to keep it warm for the duration of the afternoon. The scones, mini sandwiches, and dessert pastries came out on those 3-tiered stands and everything was delicious. They also sell some tea and tea-related accessories at the front. If you come with kids, there is a special table for them. Great place, highly recommended!
