If you're used to shopping on queen street and paying more for used clothing than you would for new stuff, then this place is not for you.

The owners are very friendly. The prices are REALLY good. With a little digging, you can find some great items.

I think I'm just used to VV's prices and organization of the store. The two Korean guys who work there when I visited were friendly as they greeted you as you entered. The one thing I can never get over is their extensive collection of fur items - which is EXCELLENT. This store organizes their purses by color (makes the items look really unappealing but that might just be me) and their clothing is not organized by size, just type, so if you find an awesome shirt, you'll be lucky if you score your size. They do, however, have a nice small collection of bow-ties that do look new but also have awful looking neon rubbery belts. I couldn't find anything great and all I saw were jerseys and huge male t-shirts.

If you are in the bloordale area, check out the huge Value Village and 69 Vintage Collective (if you're willing to pay more for thrifted items).

Delicately positioned in the delightful Bloordale Village is a petite vintage clothing shop called Vintage Depot. It's on the the south side of Bloor just east of Lansdowne. When you enter it's racks galore, a sea of clothing divided by gender and sorted into categories like windbreakers, hoodies, athletic, army jackets, tees, shoes, etc. The men's tops are sorted by colour which made it pretty easy to find a purple T-shirt. Something I needed desperately. Don't ask.

There is a healthy mix of really old and fairly new in the shop. I was pretty impressed by the shoe selection, and I might have even picked up a pair of Puma sneakers for $24 if I had had more time to try them on.

There are a host of accessories also including belts, hats, scarfs and trucker caps. If you are looking for ironic accesories, you will find them here. The service is friendly and accomodating. I would come here again.

Obligatory Title Pun: For the VIN.

Menu Readability: The signs are all hand-made and poorly done.

Need to mention: They take debit!

What this place teaches me about myself: I don't need to tell you why I need a purple shirt.

Vintage depot located on Bloor west is a subpar vintage clothing store.  Merchandise is kind of sordid, dirty and overpriced.  It is a decent spot to stop at for Halloween costumes.  The store is rather large and they had some cool Halloween worthy accessories.  I am much more particular than the boys who previously reviewed this shop.   This store may be suitable for dirty boys=) But for classy ladies this is not a tasteful fashionable vintage store.  I am sorry to say that I will not shop at this store again unless it is for costume purposes.

The first time I found this place was last Halloween. I was pretty blown away by the size of the place and just how much stuff they had. I was looking for a specific looking necktie and hat and not only did I find what I was trying to track down but I had a selection to choose from. In fact, I couldn't decide that I wound up buying more than I needed because the prices were so cheap.

The girl working was very nice and I don't think she even charged me tax. I am not usually one to buy vintage clothing, but I have been back here a couple of times to browse the racks.
