Vin Art is located in the Clayton Park area. If you can find the Home Depot, you will find it. It is very hidden in the strip mall which has the Smitty's in it.
Now, what a find here! This store is amazing. First I love the interior, second I was impressed by the deals, yes deals, that is a word in the liquor industry that is rare. They carry 470 Different Wines as well as Beer and Spirits, some very strange named Beer, but judging by the people who came in while I was there, this is a popular place and for good reason.
I was fortunate enough to go in when the operations manager Scott Comeau was there. Scott gave me the history of the store and some of the future plans, all are great. I wish I could say more, but,,,,,,,,stay tuned.
First let me say this is a locally owned store!
That is great. The priority here is very much the Customers.
That was apparent after speaking with Scott.
Vin Art goes out of their way to bring exceptional deals on wines to the customers. Here is an example: How about paying under $10.00 for a bottle of wine, out the door, taxes in. Yes, can you believe it. I could not, I took a picture for you. They have about 6 selections there to choose from. It is a pretty popular section according to Scott and they bring in new product often to replenish. How they do this, well stop by and ask Scott yourself.
They have different displays with wines, some $15.99 reg $30.00, I was in Heaven. The staff is very knowledgeable, Scott is a wealth of knowledge himself and I was given a suggestion from another staff member on the $10.00 bottle of wine. I bought a wine called " DILEMA" , one bottle of Red (SHIRAZ - MALBEC and one of White (CHARDONNAY - CHENIN).
TOTAL COST $19.98. Now I am sure you are thinking, ya that will taste like a $10.00 bottle of wine. Well wrong. This wine was good!
I do not think I have seen quality wines for such a good price.
I know there are bottles of wine that cost more than some peoples car, however, not all the time can we afford these luxuries.
I can say this was one of my better experiences buying wine and gaining some knowledge of wines from staff.
I have to say Scott did not know at first I was there doing a Yelp on the store. I did disclose that after our conversation, so I could take some pictures. He was very accommodating and nice.

Great place in Halifax to shop for all your beer, wine and spirits. Big selection and they even have Cuca Fresca Cachaca and Ikon True Russian Vodka. All their products have a fair price and they have friendly and knowlegable staff.
