They have a Jewel for your grocery shopping, a half price books AND a Barnes and noble for whichever book cravings you may have that day, a Gourmet Pita for om nomming (make sure to use their red sauce in the bottles on your falafel sandwiches - WHOA good). A Petsmart next to an Ulta with a mixture of scents that when the wind is just right can't be described and they have an unbelievably stop sign infested parking lot. The theater here has gone under different hands several times and is now AMC currently with shows five bucks all day Monday through Thursday, and there are a selection of other sit down restaurants like BW3's and Chilli's if you're looking for a bite before or after your movie. They recently (within the past couple years) built a Red Robin which prior to that the only Red Robin I had been to was at Woodfield (a ways away I'd say). They also have a Chill Bubble Tea! It's really such a bizarre set of businesses when you put them side by side, but they manage to synchronize harmoniously and make good business (except that Sell it on Ebay store - that didn't last long...) and it's apparent why. Overall everywhere you go there isn't a run down spot nor is there a really upscale one either. I recommend a ride through if you're looking for a bite to eat, a show, or need something last minute from Party City! The folks at the U Spy Store will greet you kindly, even if you're just stopping in to check things out after buying something at Best Buy.
Cheers Animal Crossing!
I err mean...Village Crossing. -

A decent place to spend an afternoon, with plenty of restaurants, stores, and a movie theater. Basically, the shopping/restaurant choices are still the same as those listed by previous reviewers.
The big problem is the mind-boggling parking lots, and because of poor design, traffic flow can be maddening during busy hours. Most of the battle is involved with getting in and out of the shopping center, since the primary exit point onto Touhy usually clogs up badly around rush hour. During busy times, I use a relatively quiet service road which borders the southernmost edge of the property. With it, I can make my escape onto Carpenter road with relative ease. -

I'm kinda liking this shopping center. It has pretty much everything one could want: Barnes and Noble. Half Price Books if I need something to read, Chili's Outback, Red Robin, Buffalo Wild Wings if I get hungry for chain restaurant food, Chuck E. Cheese if I have to entertain little ones (or big ones who are little at heart), Kerasotes Village Crossing 18 if I want to see a movie, Dicks Sporting Goods if I need to buy a fishing rod, Best Buy if I need electronics, Jewel-Osco if I need to buy groceries...
Well, you get the point!
The only thing this place seems to be lacking in is a decent clothing store but it will become more fun x10 once the Halloween stores (Spirit & Halloween USA) open up in September :D! -

C'mon guys! It isn't that bad. Look at it how I do. Where do you go if you are short on time but need: a last minute gift, toilet paper(walmart), pillows(Bed Bath and Beyond), groceries(jewel/walmart), lunch(Noodles and Company), A big screen tv (best buy), a volleyball net (Dicks sporting goods, a holloween costume(seasonal holloween stores (3), a great book(Barnes and Noble), party supplies (party city)??
You go to Village Crossing, SILLY!
Convenient as hell. Wal-mart parking lot can get a little crazy on Sunday s(Its like going to go see the pope).
Take a stroll over there and see where you end up. I do that all the time...and everytime I am glad I chose Village crossing.

I frequent this strip mall because they have so many stores that I go to. PetSmart, Barnes and Noble, Pier One, and the amazing Half Priced Books! I like the theater there, and Gourmet Pita is a fantastic place to grab a bite. There's also a Jewel, so I can get several errands done in one swoop, and there is a Target right down the street, which comes in handy.
I wish there were a few Mom n Pop shops mixed in, but other than that, this place is very convenient with a nice selection of shops. -

This place is the gathering point for all the ignorant people of the entire world!! Ground Zero,if you will. The parking lot is a veritable nightmare. I'm surprised that more accidents do not happen here,as no one will follow the stop signs or use turn signals. My husband is sure to lose his cool here and I avoid it at all costs. Some decent stores, but worth my sanity to not go here.Zero stars!!

This outdoor shopping center has a very no-nonsense, convenient mix of everyday merchants like PetSmart, Dick's Sporting Goods, Barnes & Nobe, Bed Bath & Beyond and Best Buy. It is not really aimed at the apparel shopper as there are few clothing choices outside the sporting goods category. I like it because it contains of lot of mid-sized "big box" chains I tend to use and has a number of decent eating options. Main drawback is that the arrangement of stores is clumsy and while there always seems to be ample parking it is hard to get in and out of.
