Review from Marcia F.
This is a must for lunch or dinner as it represents everything Summerland is about. It's quaint and full of fresh, local food prepared in the open kitchen. Make sure you try the homemade ham (loved the Duck) and pastas. It's a small place so make reservations (it especially fills up on Friday nights when there is live music), but if they are full you can still take out meats, cheeses and sandwiches from the deli.
I'm looking forward to going back on my next trip. -
Review from Whitney P.

Locally sourced ingredients, nuanced flavours, attentive yet low-key service, casual and comfortable setting. I have eaten here several times and have never been even slightly disappointed. The times I've eaten here, Chef Roger has done it all--cooking, service, sommelier, even bussing tables and ringing up the bill! It's a true labour of love, and that comes through in the food and the entire dining experience. My husband noticed that this is one of the very few pllaces we've eaten where I didn't say, "The *insert menu item here* was good, but Ithink a little *insert spice or herb here* would take it over the top." Save room for dessert. OMG, save room for dessert...
