this is a must for anyone who visits victoria. perfect for a romantic evening or in my case a scenic view with mom and dad. HEY THEY PAID! :)
as a kid we took the 30 minute by the sea tour and it was a really cool trip. i'm not sure how much it cost back then but i can definitely tell you it was much less than the $90 they ask for now. remember that is also in canadian dollars so much less if your from california like us. we took the tour at night so it was so beautiful to see the town and bay at night. the tour guide was very knowledgeable and so very friendly to us and her horse. it's really great to see how well this company treats it's horses and you can see they are all a big family.
next time it's no tour with the parents for me and cozy ride with a cute bc girl for sure. the blankets they provide keeps you warm and so much more i can imagine. they have many different tours at various prices available so look into it for a great time in victoria.Listed in: If I only had 1 year to live…, A YELP Christmas Story

On a whim my husband & I decided to do a carriage tour. We had been seeing the carriages all over the city but we were hesitant because of the price. For 1 hour it came out to be about $190. YIKES! After a little discussion we thought, "Why not?" and qucikly got a reservation. Within 5 minutes our horse Duke was ready. We did the Royal Tour which is an hour and it takes you around the back of the parliamant, up to Beacon Hill, along the coast. It was an unbelievably relaxing hour. Definitely a great way to see the city. We saw parts of Victoria we had never seen before. It was definitely nice to take a little break from walking.
Our guide Katie did a great job pointing out the sites to us. I liked that she wasn't overly talkative and allowed my husband & I to take in the sites and enjoy the beauty. You wouldn't think a horse drawn carriage ride would be relaxing but it was! When we were finished my husband & I were so relaxed. So glad we did this.
