Wandering aimlessly we fore-go our GO-TO place and found something different, a Panini/Espresso shop.
I strolled into a cafe setting with the chic white table/chair combination and simple RED/WHITE/GREEN paint on the wall in a subtle manner. A large LCD on the wall above the cutlery and condiments station.
VEAL Sandwich($6.75)! What else would I ask for? I even asked for Mushrooms($1.00) and we ate in so we were served on plates which I was happy with as other places I've been to (California Sandwiches & Via Panino) wrap the sandwich in paper wrap and when it's unwrapped it's guaranteed to be MESSY. I was in workwear so...
Look at the PHOTO and see how beautiful this sandwich looks and I was able to hold it without getting sauce all over my hands. Also pay attention to the DOUBLE layer of Veal and the Bun that isn't too fluffy, isn't too crispy, it is just RIGHT.
It was a good portion and I wasn't sure if it was the Mushrooms or the SAUCE but it was seasoned well, or a tiny bit more salty than others but it made it more ADDICTIVE and I even hunger for a little more.
I like it seasoned because the Bun evens out the Veal/Sauce as how Plain Rice evens out Chinese Dishes. The Bun here serves that SAME purpose. I didn't try the Chicken Sandwich but here's a photo anyways.Listed in: EatVaughan(Lunch Edition), Burger Me
