I go to Via Espresso 2-3 times a week. I really like the coffee. There is a young lady that makes really good coffee. If I am not mistakened, her name is Fernanda.
This place is clean and makes you feel like you went to a small cafe in Italy.
It is a cute place. It is so different than Tims or McDonalds.

Times I've returned here I just haven't been pleased with the coffee. I blame it on the coffee beans they buy mostly. Too they removed the rear room. Perhaps better than most places on this strip of St. Clair west, I've had better though.
VIA ESPRESSO is a cafe located in the neighborhood of Lil Italia St. Clair W. I happened upon this place one day in search of a simple cafe to get my espresso fix. There are a few things I like about this place that I'll share with you. First is that they have very reasonable pricing. Recently I had a large cappuccino about the size of a common latte which cost me less than $3. A double espresso runs you about $2.25. Very good value. You may not get the best shot of espresso you ever had here (personally not a big fan of ionia coffee) but it's pretty good, for the majority it's better than average. Their machine is hooked up to a water purifier to aid in the quality of the shot too. So product and pricing is very good.
Second thing I like about this place is that they have a large comfortable, secluded lounge in the rear. It actually feels like a private reading room with it's lamps and leather sofas. Unfortunately it seems rarely utilized so if you are in the area and want to chill out away from the day to day traffic I suggest heading into this establishment, get yourself a big latte and head to the rear room.
Finally I enjoy the service here. It's a friendly neighborhood vibe. You also get a coffee card, buy nine and get one free.
Other offerings include Numi teas, juices and pops as well as various snacks like scones, biscotti...All quite reasonably priced. I recommend this place. In this area of St. Clair W. I think it's your best bet for espresso based drinks.
