Veranda D'Or is a middle of the road Szechuan eatery just around the corner from my house. I order from there, or drop by every couple of months and have never had the experience that the original reviewer has. While I will fully admit that this isn't a top-flight gourmet Szechuan restaurant, it isn't horrible. All of the standards are there, and they're ok.
