Detailed review:
Vee Restaurant/Lounge is attached to the Apex Casino in St Albert. The Casino was renovated in recent years and I believe the lounge/restaurant is fairly new. The space is quite comfy although it is adjascent to an area with a bunch of slot machines so you need to be able to handle the typical sounds coming from slots. There are lots of TVs which typically have an assortment of sports on.
Food is standard pub food although they also have an entrees section that has simple steaks, stirfried dishes with rice, etc. Nothing will blow you away but they do have good onion rings! Great place for a snack if you are gaming in the building or want to have a drink in a non-busy environment. They also have lunch specials every weekday - I sometimes work around the Apex Casino and this is a welcome addition to the few food options in this area.
