CHUCKALUCKA! My 4 year old computer has been saved! I thought my acer laptop was hopeless when it was attacked by a severe virus last week. Already the system was running slow and I knew it was only a matter of time... But I can't afford a new laptop at the moment so I walked her down the drive to VCV on Friday.
I have never been hit by such honesty in the tech business. In my experience it's always them knowing way to much about your gadgets and having the ability to rip you off at every opportunity.. well not in this case. They offered to back it up, wipe it clean, and throw on a year of Norton anti-virus, all for 90 bucks.
When I picked it up the next day (yes, less than 24 hours later) she was as good as new (EXACTLY like new as they informed me that they even upgraded it to more storage.. for free) and then didn't even charge me tax! $90 cash, baby!
OFY! I forgot how fast these machines can be..............
