Best rates for US exchange and probably many other well. Done lots of research and no place beats this one, it even beats out Kingmark at Yaohan and Crystal.
Tip: if you're exchanging over a couple hundred ask for the preferred rate. They'll usually give it u no qs asked. -

I think I could have loved this place... if I'd been able to find it.
Admittedly, I'm an out-of-towner, but on my trip to VC in September of 2011, I made a note of this place so I could get some USD exchanged to CD$. I was driving in from Seattle, and had my Google Maps printed out, as well as the exact address. Unfortunately, I could absolutely NOT find the storefront. The signage was non-existent, coupled with the fact that this area is nothing but one-way's and divided roads. I drove around for nearly an hour, even asking a few people on the street, and couldn't locate this place.
Now, it's entirely possible I was just jet/travel lagged and missed something INCREDIBLY OBVIOUS, but I somehow doubt that. -

This is my favorite currency exchange service in the GVR (there are other locations in Vancouver but this is near where I work so I always come here).
I travel a fair bit and have needed to exchange to a variety of currencies in the last year from yen, to USD, to Euros, to DKKs, and to pesos. I did a lot of shopping around in the past and have settled with VCBE now. At the time of the exchange, VCBE consistently has some of the best rates in town and the service is fast and efficient. They are able to deal with currencies that some of the banks want to have pre-ordered.
They have a preferred customer card that sometimes gives you a miniscule difference in their rates (print of website and you'll get a business sized card to use afterwards after you bring it in).
Another great service they offer is foreign currency transfer. For large international purchases, you can't always use Canadian credit cards... this leads to the option of foreign drafts and wires, which are RIDICULOUSLY expensive at my local bank. I can sometimes use Canada Post in a bind, but they cap your foreign draft at $1000US/Cdn so it doesn't really help for large purchases. VCBE offers fabulous rates or their wires/drafts which is much appreciated!
Definitely this is as good as it gets!
