The worst parts about this place are the serving sizes and the unbelievable costs associated with those pitiful serving sizes. I hear that Valenti's had it's golden years much like many restaurants but apparently I was late for the show. I ordered the cannelloni and to be completely honest I would prefer either my Iranian friends cannelloni or the cannelloni from one of those microwaveable dinner things. It was a major let down.
To wash back the meal we ordered some Italian lemon drink which was just gross.
I agree with all my Italian friends when I say the best Italian food is home made and whoever is working behind the stove at Valenti's doesn't put the same love and care into their food that an Italian mother puts into the food she's cooking for her family and friends.
Overall, terrible experience. Going to avoid this place indefinitely.
And to fill in the gaps that my other reviews normally offer: the service sucked, the atmosphere was clean but had a strange almost pretentious feeling about it (which I didn't enjoy), and the food took forever to get.
My advice: make a good Italian friend and have them bring you home for a meal. (not much is better) -
