Mis Trucos' patio is the perfect place to keep those pitchers of sangria coming! That's what's bringing on this awesome conversation and wicked peeps to hang with on a breezy Vancouver night. Next time, I promise I'll remember to bring a sweater! But thanks to Kassim for moving over so Vanessa and I could share the heater's warmth.
What meat didn't we eat? Venison? Squid? Lardo? Scallop? Lobster? That's right lardo! But we definitely found out what lardo is - pork/bacon fat for anyone interested.
My favourite part (outside of the awesome company, cool conversations of Canadian vs Americanisms and food of course) was meeting new yelpers Adam M and Diana and hanging with Elites and plus ones. You guys totally made my Friday night! Thanks for organizing this Kat and for whipping out those Groupon coupons!

Can I really review my own event? This seems wrong (flag away if not allowed). I just wanted to say thanks to eveyone that came out. You guys were fun to talk to, and it was great to meet some new peeps.
Sadly, I was not full after Mis Trucos, so the party continued down the street for some poutine!
A sweater is a definite must for that patio! Thank goodness for the heater, which just seemed wrong for the end of June.
