I'm trying to think of a good line to start this off without saying something I'm not trying to. My first stab at it was "If you're looking for a good time, talk to Sarah", so you can see where I'm coming from, here.
That said, Sarah did an awesome job planning a truly epic crawl. From Oakville to Stoney Creek to St. Catharines, through Fort Erie and ultimately ending in Buffalo, chicken wings were consumed by Connie, Sarah and myself to great effect. We also had a kickass time whilst not consuming chicken wings.
Some highlights:
1. The customs agent yelling at his coworker heading over to the Nexus booth, "I hope you fall and chip your teeth!"
2. Sarah threatening to axe-murder us on a dark back road. Still hoping she was kidding.
3. The music - oh, the music. Where else are you going to hear Phil Collins, Elton John (and Kiki Dee, of course!), Lady GaGa, The Boomtown Rats and the soundtrack to Glee on the same trip? Nowhere, that's where, because we're simply that cool.
4. Endless photography and filming, which I'm hoping results in something almost as epic as the crawl itself.
Low points:
1. Toronto Yelpers - where were you guys? Only three of us came out? Weak, guys - really weak.
