The last vintage boutique left Downtown! Besides having an Alexander McQueen jacket and one of a kind Chanel belt, the selection is one of the best in the city. And the prices are way better than you'd find on Main Street. Dresses average $20-$35, shirts are pretty much all $18 and Doc Martens are always affordable here. My friend got a Christian Dior blazer for $50! And while catering to current trends, they also have an awesome selection of unique pieces for the more creative dressers like myself!

My favorite little vintage shop in the Granville area! While they are a tiny shop, i count myself lucky because it is already impossible not to find a few amazing things here! They have the best selection of cute 60s party dresses, and their accessories are always super cute. While their prices are about average for Vancouver vintage shops, i always find their items to be in really good condition. Even if something is cute, i just can't pay 80 bucks for something with a rip in it, which i find to be a problem at quite a few other places.
I've had quite a few good finds here, but my favorite have been my studded black cowboy boots with red trim! I was looking for cowboy boots for awhile and having no luck in new or secondhand stores... Sure the new shoe stores had some, but they were all pretty generic and over $100, and i couldn't find any to fit my girl feet in secondhand places. Luckily, i found my dream pair of boots at Used for 60 bucks! They fit perfectly, were the right price and are super duper unique! -

Another gem along Granville Street that I didn't know existed! I understand that vintage clothing may not be some people's idea of 'style' but I love nothing more than perusing the aisles of a vintage shop with the giddy expectancy of finding a treasure from era's past and Used is a wonderful place to do just that.
The prices are just the same as they are at most vintage clothing shops in Vancouver, that being, mostly overpriced, but the selection of unique and interesting items rivals the best shops I've been to. In particular, you can find some truly stunning gowns from the 50's and 60's along with a plethora of jumpsuits, sweaters, vests and fur coats from all era's in great condition for men and women. Along with apparel, Used carries a number of great vintage jewellery pieces and sunglasses from top names.
Used is great for the seasoned vintage shopper as well as the person who is looking for something to wear as a costume, either way, you are bound to have a fun time at Used! -

Used falls into a pretty regular category amongst Vancouver vintage shops. It's a shop that disregards value for the sake of quality, and if you're looking for that, you'll likely be pleased.
Unlike Mintage or Tru Value, Used is a smaller shop but does a pretty nice job of trying to make up for that by just having high quality pieces. They do follow the modern trends, trying to hit all the current fashions and they often have some really interesting things.
The best part of used is their accessories. They have tons of really great hats, awesome belt buckles and great ties and shoes. If you're looking for a high-end vintage accessory , definitely head here.
So yes, if you don't mind paying a bit extra for quality vintage, head here. But if you're buying vintage for the deals the you'd better keep on walking. -

It's a bit smaller than other stores along the Granville strip and easy to miss because it's upstairs, but it's definitely worth dropping into every now and then.
I like Used for it's selection in accessories, especially in jewelry. You can find awesome rings for $10 and funky necklaces. They have a nice selection in guys accessories too. -

I was at Urban Outfitters across the street when I looked up and noticed a 1960's pink dress that you'd wear to a dance, kind of like in Grease? So I had to go in check it out. I was really surprised by how clean and nice smelling the place was, oh and the Kitsch!
The jewellery table has Michael Jackson earrings circa 1980's, and these large Aquamarine chandelier earrings that were so tacky, but fun. Their faux-fur collection was cool, but I really loved the dresses. Pinks, blue, yellows in all prints, shapes and sizes. And those jeans! Who needs $400 Hudson's from the UK when you can buy these puppies? Great guy selection too!
