This place has cheap clothing
Be prepared to have to hunt down something decent, and wade through alot of crap.
However, once you do find something good, the price is right- making it pretty much disposable after the season, if it falls apart, or its no longer in style.
2 things i do hate -the long line ups and change rooms with NO MIRRORS!! WTF??!
Seriously, WTF ?? I cannot understand this concept, and it pisses me off.
However, the last time I was here,Spring had arrived and there was some fresh cute dresses i just HAD to check out.
Ok so one turned into 4 and i quickly snuck into he change room - hoping the BF didn't see me ....
I quickly tried on 2 items, one i could just feel wasn't going to work, The other i dared venture out to the shared mirror, where another girl was shyly checking herself right the fuck out.. I took one look and knew it was not for me, Luckily Items 3 & 4 were the same only different colors. I slipped one on and knew it was a score.
The girl who ran the change-room, had given me a 5 for 5 items, however I had verbalized that I had only 4 when i went in, when I was leaving, I gave her the 2 rejects and the #5. She looked at me like I was trying to scam a garment and I said - Only 4 . She still gave me the disapproving but defeated look. Which didn't make me happy, However, since I knew damn well It was 4 items in - Screw her!
Off to the line up, where I got a call from the BF asking where the hell I was.(I had ran in "Just one sec! One thing I want to see......" ) I muttered about long line ups- but he appeared out of nowhere and quickly shot that down. Busted!
While in line I spotted a large area of CLEARANCE $10 items!! OH How I longed to take a peek ..... But sensing the BF's frustration and sympathizing with his sore feet, I looked away, and stayed in line. Pay & GO I told myself!
Finally, it was my turn. Cashier seemed bored and not overly friendly, but not rude... just wishing she was elsewhere I'm sure. Paid, and started to leave.
My BF then spotted some funky sunglasses cases for super cheap!! I wanted ..but no - I will come back I told myself ....Come back alone, so I can check everything out and no doubt, spend more money!Listed in: Shopping!!, Bargains a plenty !, Metrotown

I've never been to Urban Behavior before. I've never been to Metrotown Mall before. To be sure, Friday evening, when UB is having their Friends & Family Event (where the ENTIRE STORE is 50% off) was not the best idea I have ever had.
Never the less, as a seasoned sample sale shopper, I can say it wasn't *that* scary. It was complete pandemonium, but I am positive that was because of the sale.
Despite a slightly stressed demeanor, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The merchandise was spread EVERYWHERE (again sale specific), but they were doing their best to keep it in line and help people find sizes.
No, it isn't high quality, durable stuff. It is the Canadian equivalent to Rave, Alley Kat, Wet Seal, Papaya or any other cheap, young, trendy store in malls across America. You know exactly what you are getting the minute you walk into the store. Don't complain to me that the kinda slutty sparkly strapless dress you bought for $35 and wore out clubbing didn't hold up to more than 3 washes (like you needed it to last that long anyway).
Tank tops, leggings, inexpensive scarves/purses/earrings that you don't mind forgetting in the cab but still look good. Jeggings for $20? Gold and silver sequined finger-less gloves for $10? Why yes, I'll take two, thanks. -

I typically like this store for cheap seasonal items for my work wardrobe but based on my recent experience it may be awhile before I return.
They are offering a 50% off all items so I collected 2 arm fulls of loot to try on in the change room which is conveniently located at the back of the store. When I get there with about $400 worth of merchandise, ALL of which I was prepared to purchase I was shocked to see the change rooms were "closed for this event." I'm a reasonable person so instead of freaking out I asked if the items were returnable and the girl didn't know so she flagged down the rudest Manager I have ever had the displeasure of meeting who firmly told me know. When I questioned her as to why customers are being forced to purchase merchandise they cannot return she shrugged and mumbled something about the store closing or something whilst rudely glaring at me. She may no attempt to offer a resolution or alternate option, simply stood there glaring at me with hundreds of dollars of merchandise in my hands. I dropped all the items in a pile on the closest shelf in front of her and she then gave me a look as if to indicate she was about to chase me out of the store!
Perhaps they should consider changing the name of the store to Bad Behavior?Listed in: Better Luck Next Time
