I often wonder what people keep when they're getting rid of so many awesome pieces... I suppose it doesn't really matter because Upscale Garage Sale gives the rest of us a chance to buy beautiful, gently - or even barely, worn pieces at pretty decent prices.
The furniture is definitely indicative of the neighbourhood. Many pieces are stately, large, some floral, some antique but almost all sized for bigger spaces. Too bad for me and my small apartment, but I hope someone somewhere gets to take home the beautiful solid stone top coffee table!Listed in: Dunbar--Oh, If Only I Could…

The Upscale Garage Sale store on north Dunbar Street is owned by Abbey Prebushewski, who specializes in buying and selling used fine furniture. She'll also take your used items and, if they're "upscale" enough, plus you have no garage sale to sell them off at yourself, put them on consignment for you. Another great way to go green!
