For a small market amusement park this place is excellent. Like others have said, "It's not Disneyland" but if you're looking for a great day of fun for the whole family then this is the place. The Roller Coaster, Flume and Water Slide are the major attractions and are great fun. There also many other rides for small and older kids alike. They also feature local entertainment in various venues throughout the park and the talent is usually excellent.
There are various food venues which serve great food but they can be a bit pricey. That said there is a great little park just outside the gates where you can go and have a nice picnic lunch and then back to the park for a great dessert. :)
So if you're looking for a day of fun, at a reasonable price, in a beautiful setting then Upper Clements is the place to go. I don't think you'll be disappointed. -

If you find yourself in the maritimes this summer and are in need of a distraction for your family then Upper Clements Park is the place to be. It's the biggest and best in outdoor entertainment in the province and it's pretty affordable too! When I was younger this was one of the few places that my family (of five kids) could agree on going that didn't put a serious dent in my parents pocket book.
The facilities are great and really spacious, no claustrophobia while line waiting here. Kudos to the cleaning staff at Upper Clements Park, the walking trails between attractions are kept really clean, a hard feat for a children's park.
As an added treat, Upper Clements Park is running a promotion for free admission on Sundays to volunteer firefighters who bring their firefighter ID and free admission on Fridays to military ID carriers. -

Upper Clements Park is a sensory overload for the young and the young at heart. Located in a beautiful setting just outside Annapolis Royal, it's perfectly situated to take in plenty of sun without having too much wind off the Bay of Fundy.
We love going to Upper Clements Park. It's an easy trip from Halifax if you get up early (although staying overnight is recommended, particularly if you close the park down).
I have to say that the prices have climbed significantly in the last few years. Admissions are now $21 and up (with the $21 bracelet according entry to few rides beyond the basic kiddie rides). For a family of four, that makes for an expensive day - especially considering that you can't bring your own food in.
Nevertheless, an outing to Upper Clements Park is always a highlight of the season and I can't imagine summer without it. -

Upper Clements Park is a lot of fun for the family or a group of friends want to go on a road trip. It is not too far away from the city.
It is one of our best amusement parks here in the province. My favourite ride is the flume. Nothing beats getting drenched on a hot summer day.
The lines go pretty quick here.
There are a variety of rides (please keep in mind this is not Disneyland) when I say a variety of rides. But, the little ones will be happy and you should be fine with the rollercoaster, flume, water slide and this year they are said to have Ziplines, that sounds like fun.
They usually have a special , buy three tickets get another free. Check their websites. If it is in the budget try and get the premier bracelet, it allows you all the rides and as many times. -

Nothing says quarter century celebration like a trip to a rural amusement park. On the closing day last fall, I headed to this land of childhood memories with a crew of amigos. Talk about a hilarious day of juvenile insanity!
We all opted for the deluxe bracelet, gaining us unlimited access to all activities, rides and attractions. The flume is my number one favorite, and after four consecutive rides, I can safely assert that we were all drenched to the bone. Mini golf? No problem! Kids' rides that are too small for adults, but somehow still fun? They got 'em. We also went on a terrifying cage swirling ride that had us all screaming like maniacs.
The haunted house was ridiculous. We waited an hour to get in and there was one teen employee dressed up providing non-inspired scares. It was great.
The canteen had a veggie burger and we all gorged ourselves on cheap food and sodas in the wonderful warmth of the valley sun. This place is mega fun for every age group. I think we had more fun than most of the children there! They reopen June 23rd of this year, so get your bracelets in advance and plan your delightful valley getaway!
