At Uplinks, you can bet on the horses, people watch, eat a meal and have a few bevvies, in the comfort of a casual lounge with plenty of action going on around you. If you're not at all interested in placing bets, you can just watch the races on the many screens and enjoy the energetic atmosphere. The menu is pretty good. Prices are reasonable and service is a little slow, but while you're waiting there is a lot to mull over on the menu. The wings here are exceptional. I could order piles of them. The fish and chips is also very good, and if you want to take a stroll outside to see the horses as they walk the ring before a race, the bartender will pour your beer into a plastic cup for you to take outdoors and into the track area. I like coming here 'cause it's a different experience from your regular pub outing. If you go with a shrewd (and occasional) horse better like I do, your meal may even be covered by the winnings!
