I used to have really good experiences at UCMC in North Hill Mall. That's right, USED to. The last time I went in I was shocked and appalled by the service.
Having been going to UCMC for almost 20 years, I was surprised to find out that I can no longer use this facility as my main doctor's office. My long time doctor has since retired and the last time I went in to have a physical, they told me I would have to find a new doctor, since my doctors replacement wasn't taking new patients. Fair enough for people who are actually new patients, but I've been using this facility forever! Am I really a new patient to this clinic?
What is wrong with doctor's nowadays? Seriously? I've been going to UCMC ever since I left paediatrics, but all-of-a-sudden I have to find a new doctor... someone who doesn't know my history or my body! I'm furious now because there are almost no doctors who are taking new patients. Do I have to go to a walk-in for all my personal lady checkups? That can't be right.
I am just livid by the way this clinic is treating me. It seems unfair that I have to find a new clinic after using this one my whole adult life. So don't think you can head to UCMC and have your needs met, you'll be wrong if you do!
