If you're anything like me, you will be completely overwhelmed walking into this bookstore. They have got EVERYTHING and while you stand in the doorway seeing books as far as the eye can go, you're sure to have a wave of anxiety. But here's the good news, almost every single staff member here is OUBER helpful, so spare yourself the panic attack and just ask someone.
The thing I love most about this book store is that they have EVERYTHING. When I say EVERYTHING, I mean every book you can imagine, magazines, stationary, art supplies, greeting cards, candy, school supplies, U of C paraphernalia, ear plugs and anything else your brain can muster up. It's like a miniature city it's so big!
The other thing I love is that there is never just ONE person at the til. There are always at least 3-4 friendly women eagerly ringing through your merchandise, which means you're never in line for very long.
I also love their return policy. If you're really not happy, or you picked up the wrong thing, just bring it back with the receipt and they'll surely refund your money. Plus, you don't have to go back into the bookstore for returns! There is a window conveniently located outside so you can bypass the crowd inside the store!
I have nothing bad to say about this bookstore and it's really been good to me for a good number of years.

This store has tons of book titles to explore, along with the texts you might need for any classes you're taking.
There's a whole section of art supplies, writing supplies and paper, not to mention a kids section, U of C memorabilia and gift ideas.
There's usually some fairly unique seasonal gift ideas near the front entrance.
...and there's a cafe right there that serves up whatever kind of coffee you want!
