Review from Danielle F.
Toronto, ON
A rompin' and stompin' good time!
Up the stairs and into a two-story space, you are transported to Union Station! But not the Toronto one like I immediately associate with. Instead, they put a Union Jack spin on everything. It's kind of Canadian-y too with lots of wood and expected pub/bar decor.
The area reads as loft-like with a big open space and stairs up to another bar area that looks down on the rest. A few booths and tables are scattered around but dancing is definitely a focus here. There are several different platforms for it and ladies are even encouraged onto the main bar to the delight of the men gawking from the top floor.
It was 90s night on a Saturday which is a pretty fun idea! As the night progressed they started playing more and more top 40 but it was all worth is for the occasional "Dirty Pop" or "S Club" thrown in from time to time.
Service was pretty quick. Had some tequila which was promptly accompanied with salt and lemon. Cheers to the night! And right down the street? Elgin Street Diner. Winning combination.Listed in: Out On the Town
