my parents owned a chinese restaurant  so i'm an ok judge of chinese food.  This restaurant is pretty good for what it is.  Nothing special but fairly good quality.  I'm happy with it and I think the price is good for the quality of food you get.

I have two experiences with this place.

The first time I came here I came alone and ate in for dinner.  I had the honey walnut prawns and pork fried rice.  They were both outstanding!  It was not very crowded and the service was pretty good, although the waitress did make one or two comments that made me scratch my head.

Second experience, I asked my partner to pick up a few dishes for take-out.  She went to the restaurant and ordered and she told me later that the people she dealt with were unfriendly and rude.  We ordered food for 4 people but they only wanted to give her ONE fortune cookie, ONE packet of soy sauce, and ONE little container of hot chili paste.  She had to ARGUE with them to get more than one fortune cookie!  After ordering probably $40 worth of food!  Talk bout penny wise and dollar foolish.  It baffles me when restaurants act this way, being stingy with "freebies" like soy sauce packets or napkins.  Also, the take-out food was not nearly as good as the food I had when I ate in the restaurant.  I actually ended up throwing half of the leftovers away because they weren't tasty enough to bother with.

Would have been 5 stars based on my first experience, three stars considering the bad service, stinginess, and lower food quality of the second visit.  Might give it another chance (for dine in only) but we'll see.

    Decor is kind of mottled.
    Portions are generous.
    I enjoyed the eggplant prawns.
I didn't care for the sauces.
The meat was cut too large in the house special fried rice.
The steamed rice was not very tasty.

We only order takeout from this place. They're pretty quick with to-go orders too. It usually only takes them 10 minutes to get us our usual HUGE order for 2. Yes, we eat...we eat to grow bizznatches!

I like the sweet and sour pork here.

I like the fried wontons here.

I like the vegetable stir fry dishes here.

I like the chicken dishes here.

I don't like their white rice, it's not soft and fluffy enough for me.

I can't stand the soups here...especially the wonton soup (which apparently is their most popular). Talk about spitting out that gooey ball of nastiness and throwing up into the pot of soup. Ick!

Pricing is normal, not cheap...not expensive.

We visited this oddly named establishment on Saturday night solely on my insistence that we do so due to the seemingly high star reviews on Yelp. In not so many words....I don't get it.

It's basically a Chinese-American place but with the food on the American end and the service on the Chinese end, when it should be the other way around.

The decor was that typical nice/weird Chinese restaurant decor you find at the 'nicer' Chinese places i.e.  worn out fabric seats and a hodgepodge of eclectic Asian knick-knacks. The place was fairly busy, but not packed. The menu has over 100 choices, which is typical of a Chinese eatery, and they have all of the standard dishes you'd expect to find.

I've got to say I don't get the resounding reviews of the food. To me, it was above average mall food quality. Very salty (possible MSG) and the sauces were those typical thick sticky ones that you'd expect to come out of an industrial vat of Chinese sauces sold at Costco or Sams.

The flavors were what you'd expect from mall quality food, over-powering, muddled and not fresh tasting. Also, the dishes were not dynamic at all. They relied heavily, and solely it seemed, on the sauce and the protein often times having only one other ingredient (a vegetable).

Again, I don't get the reviews. Mediocre quality at best. Only reason it's not a 2 star is due to their countless vegetarian options. If you go, just be sure you're with someone that doesn't have high blood pressure because the sodium content might induce a heart attack right at the table.  The MSG probably won't kick in until you get home, so you will be able to lie down then before you get dizzy.

I had been here before a long time ago and liked the food decently so I thought I'd return.

I ordered a potsticker appetier to go.  When I placed my phone order, I requested sweet & sour sauce with my order.  When I go there, I tried to pay with my Visa card, and they requested I pay with cash since I "only ordered potsticker".  I compiled and gave him cash.  When I got my potstickers, there was no sweet & sour sauce. :(  Nor did they even give us fortune cookies!  What a bummer!

Also the food paled in comparison to the last time I had been there- too bad!!!  It was not as good by any means to the time before I went there.  I will be looking for a new Chinese restaurant.

I was sitting in Union Chinese last night, waiting for my to go order, and thought to myself, "I've been coming here for 15 years, why haven't I written a review yet?"

UC is your typical American Chinese restaurant.  From the mahogany colored tables to the giant fish tank filled with goldfish, this is like an upscale Panda Express.

To me, that doesn't matter.  I am not an adventurous Chinese food eater.  I like Sweet 'N Sour Pork, Chicken Fried Rice and Deep Fried Prawns.  Yes, I'm all about the deep fried when it comes to my Chinese food.

And, in my experience, the food has always been tasty at Union Chinese.  Lisa, the hardest working waitress in San Jose, gets the food to your table FAST.  How do they make Chinese food so quickly?  Or is that a question I really don't want the answer to?  Anyway, it's good, it's relatively inexpensive ($21.00 total for the three items listed above) and there's always leftovers.

    How can you go wrong?

Average chinese food, but a good price and alot of food.
Very conveniently located near the appartment. The older couple that run the place are very nice. I noticed that their veggie dishes were alot better then some of their counterparts in the area.

The chow mein and eggplant dish there were both really good. everything else I have tried there was not bad, but nothing to write home about.

Came today with my Fiance for lunch. We did not know what to order but we usually do order the Chicken Salad. This is our favorite dish when we come. We also tried to the Won Ton soup which was pretty tasty. The waitress was very helpful today and I think she might have a crush on me. lol. But she was very polite as usual. Recommended for sure!

    GEEZ-US!    Where do I begin?

Ok ok ok.  In all fairness to this establishment, I have had a positive experience with them in the past... (less than a month ago)   but that was the past.

Last night my son, girlfriend and I got take out from UC.

A Large Hot and Sour Soup, Special Fried rice, Sesame Chicken, and Walnut Prawns.

Across the board, everything was bland at best.  From the rubbery chicken, to the brown lettuce used as garnish on our prawns....  we were thoroughly thoroughly disappointed.  So much so, that none of us finished out meals.

Sorry to say UC but you guys failed us big time.

Your close proximity, friendly staff and reasonable prices simply dont out way the "dirty-basement" quality fare you choose to serve your clientèle.

Upset, disappointed, and happy to reiterate.

a consumer you have lost for life.

I've been to Union Chinese twice, and I love it.  I've had the honey walnut prawns, pork fried rice, Kung Pao chicken and sweet & sour pork - all of it fresh and delicious, and brought to the table very promptly after ordering.

The service is good.  There is one waitress who is really quirky, but she's hilarious and quite endearing.  All the servers are very attentive, refilling water glasses throughout the meal.

To the guy who wrote a review saying he had bad service - I'm not surprised you didn't received enthusiastic service if you regularly leave a 4% tip.  That's just insulting.  If I was serving you and knew that you didn't appreciate my service enough to leave a customary tip of 15-20%, I'd be pretty annoyed with your repeated visits too.

And on that note, while we were dining, another table paid their bill and then left.  The tip they left for the waitress was all in coins, and I imagine not a reasonable amount of money.  When she saw it, she slumped over, kind of defeated.  Come on people!!   Our culture tips people who provide services to us, so show some respect and appreciation!

I've been going to this San Jose institution for over twenty years. You'd think I'd know better by now. Lunch today consisted of a VAT of truly delicious Wor Won Ton. Lots of plump shrimp, fresh vegetables and bits of pork in a zesty broth. Hard to beat for $10.95. So what's not to like? The service absolutely sucks. Had to ask for chop sticks THREE times and the the witch just threw them on the table. I put my credit card on the table and she dropped a check on a little tray and mumbled, "Pay the cashier." I've never paid the cashier before and I'm not doing it now.  I left $22.00, including my normal 4% tip and left.

The food is consistently good, but I just won't put up with attitude when I go out to eat. Hell, I get enough of that at home.

The lunch specials are cheap cheap!

Once I asked if they could leave out the msg in my food. The server said the fried rice already had it so they couldn't. I laughed and ordered it anyways.

Definitely not the best chinese food, but definitely not the worst.

Union Chinese is a restaurant that had received several recommendations from multiple co-workers.  While all acknowledged that it possibly wasn't the most authentic, most enjoyed the food and found it tasty.

I decided to give it a try and see if it lived up to its good reviews, although I understood this area is not known for ethnic cuisine and the standards are different.

The builidng is located on the corner of Union Avenue and is a distinct yellow color.  The parking lot is tiny and seems poorly designed.  Entering via Bascom Avenue, the parking spots are facing the wrong direction.  Not a big deal, but I had to do a three point turn to get parked.

The restaurant itself is the epitome of Americanized Chinese.  From the dark red table clothes and waiter's clothing, to the traditional Chinese paintings, Union Chinese would fit in well with the stereotype of Chinese restaurants from the 1970's.  It appears that most of the Chinese establishments in this area follow this pattern (Oriental Garden, Yeung Shing, Best Taste) or they simply haven't modernized their decor since opening many years ago.

The menu (again in dark red) offered a selection of items, including lunch specials.  I knew upon seeing sections for "chop suey" and "egg foo young" that I wasn't going to get anything but Americanized Chinese.  I still remember as a kid my mother telling me she arrived to America and was taken to a Chinese restaurant and flabbergasted by this dish called "egg foo young." It's still quite popular today in the Midwest and away from major metropolitan areas, but disappointing to see in the Peninsula and so close to San Francisco.

But I digress and my expectations were tempered.  I was just looking for a tasty meal.  I was intrigued by the section of the menu called "hand pulled noodles."  Two choices interested me: black bean sauce noodles and spicy beef stew with soup noodles.  I asked the proprietress which she would recommend.

She actually recommended neither.  She said I would be much better off getting the seafood noodle soup.  Although I wasn't as interested in that choice (didn't sound Chinese to me), I didn't feel comfortable ordering the black bean noodles or beef stew since she specifically recommended me away from them.  So I said ok to the seafood noodle soup.  She also suggested the wide chow fun noodles and I said ok to that too.  I remember her saying I would love it.

My soup noodles arrived within minutes and was quite generous in size.  A lot of vegetables and seafood adorned the top of the bowl.  But some things weren't quite right.  I noticed a lot of non-Asian vegetables like zucchini and American mushrooms.  The seafood consisted of squid, small shrimp (likely frozen), and a few thin scallops.  There was also a lot of spinach.

Now there's nothing wrong in itself with any of these ingredients other than the fact that those mushrooms and zucchini are rarely used in Chinese cuisine and didn't taste right.  I myself have cooked a similar bowl of soup at home.  It's called "cleaning the fridge" and I use all the mushrooms, carrots, salad, spinach I have leftover in my fridge and combine it with a can of chicken soup, udon noodles, and just boil.

Union's soup noodles weren't much different nor was the skill much more.  The soup broth was not made from an original stock and tasted like either packet/can preparations.  The vegetable medley was just thrown together and boiled  As for the wide noodles, they were ok, but they weren't freshly or hand made here.  I've had enough fresh noodles to tell.  It reminds me of a joke I once heard about fresh seafood.  "Are your fish alive?"  The waiter answered, "Well, they were."  Same goes for these noodles.  They may have been hand made long ago, but I can bet they weren't hand made at the restaurant.

In the end, I didn't finish my soup noodles, which is almost unheard of for me.  Although I had only one dish, I had seen enough to form an opinion.  I may give Union Chinese one more try (and will re-rate if warranted), but I'm trying the black bean noodles or the beef stew soup noodles next time.

As for fans of this place, I don't debate that some of the dishes probably taste good.  But so does food from Panda Express and Mr. Chau's.  Please, please treat yourself to an authentic Chinese restaurant and see what the cuisine truly is.  Your taste buds will thank you and you'll experience depths of flavor that can change your outlook.  It's only a stone's throw away in Cupertino, Milpitas or San Mateo....and all available for very affordable prices.

Good food and a friendly environment means a restaurant that gets my money.

A good friend told me that this was her favorite restaurant.

I stopped by. There was a woman sitting down, making dumplings or something, who asked me "Can I help you sir?'

To her left, a customer was slurping noodles like an anteater extracting ants from an anthill.

I asked for a takeout menu. She replied "right there."

I said "My friend told me that this was her favorite restaurant. i want to read your menu and come back for a meal soon."

She didn't reply. Awkward silence? You betcha, except for the anthill excavation still in progress.

The menu lists an impressive array of choices but the excruciatingly unfriendly vibe means that I won't be trying any of them.

Food - 3 (mainly for the spicy beef stew, nothing else there is all that good)
    Service - 3
    Ambience - 1

The best thing on the menu is the spicy beef stew with hand-pulled noodles. Everything else is pretty Americanized Chinese, and not even in a good way (a la Panda Express). The service is pretty curt, which is pretty typical of family-run Chinese restaurants from my experience. It helps a little that I can speak Cantonese with the woman. It seems to soften her a little. The decor is dismal from top to bottom, outside to in.

The minuscule parking lot is scary because there is barely a wide enough passage way between the parked cars and the building on one side.

Bad, that is all I can say.  The food is plain, no taste to the fried rice, the curry chicken had so much MSG that we could actually taste it.  Oh, and how can someone mess up steamed rice?  Well, I really don't know the answer to that other than that even the steamed rice was bad, dry like it was left over from the day before.
We got the food to go but the restaurant looked dirty and really dark inside.
Service: rude, she suggested that we get cashew chicken but I don't like cashew chicken so when I told her that she became upset and responded very rudely to just pick myself than.
About half an hour later I had a really bad stomach ache and felt like crap.  So unless you like really tasteless Chinese Food or are looking to have a stomach ache I don't recommend this place at all.

Are you craving American Chinese food from a divey 80s restaurant? Well then you've come to the right place.

The first thing we noticed about this place after driving past it a dozen times was that it has been there for a long time. You're really not coming here for the fantabulous food. It's half about the food and half about atmosphere.

We walked into the restaurant around 5:30pm and the place was empty. Yeah, not a good sign but we were hungry so we stayed. We decided to get the 2 person dinner which includes egg rolls, choice of soup (we got won ton), rice and two entrees.

As we waited for our eggrolls and soup, an Indian customer walked in to order take-out (I figure that's how this place survives rather than dine-in customers). She ordered a dish that has pork in it and instead of the waiter just putting her order in, he said "This dish has pork in it, do you want to substitute it for another kind of meat?" The customer was a little taken back as was I. A restaurant that actually pays attention to that level of detail is good in my book. She ended up substituting chicken for the meat. Sweet!

So after all that took place, the waitress brought over our eggrolls which were cliche in with that bright red, probably not natural sauce. I loved it and I don't know why. The soup was pretty good too albeit the won tons tasted more like potstickers but yet again, I didn't mind. On a side note, the waitress did put more stuff in Justyn's bowl than in mine which was funny. It was almost like she was telling me I needed to go on a diet or something. She also put all the carrots in his bowl rather than in mine. I hate carrots so that was a nice touch intentional or not.

The two entrees and rice came soon after that and we dove in. Unfortunately the Mongolian Beef had carrots and the Almond Chicken had water chestnuts which Justyn doesn't like, but we still devoured almost all of it.

I really can't put my finger on it, but this place has a sort of charm to it. I had a really good experience here. I went in knowing that this place wasn't going to be a great place to eat, and maybe that's why I was so impressed.

Upon the recommendation of 3 and 4 star yelp reviews, I tried this place.  It is possible that users have been to this restaurant while it has been serving patrons in top form.

However, the service we received last Saturday night was beyond disappointing.  The prices for food using canned ingredients (mushrooms and such) were higher than they needed to be.  I understand the practice of having dinner prices but food quality does not translate well here.

    Pros:
    Friendly wait staff.
    Garlic chicken was decent

    Cons:
Mu-shu Pork  (does not use rice paper wrappers)
Honey Walnut Prawns (more batter, less prawn)
White Rice (tasted a day old and reheated)

I do not recommend this place.  Perhaps with time and a focus on quality they can turn this place around.  Just don't count on my patronage.

Doesn't look like much from the street and the parking lot really sucks but the food is worth it.

Just a warning that if you eat there its a little noisy.  They just put tile on the floor so the sound just echos everywhere.

Heres the skinny on the food, and depending on the food it ranges from 4-5 stars.

    Recommended dishes:
    1.  Hong kong style house special chow mien= the noodles are nice and crispy and the sause is well flavored.
    2.  Walnut Prawns= i know this is a standard favorite but it tastes better here.  The batter is crispy and doesn't taste too oily and the sauce doesn't have too much mayo.
    3.  Wor Won Ton Soup= lots of good stuff in this one.
    4.  Salt and Pepper Squid=good only if you like salty food..you need to take an extra diruretic with this dish.

Went here last night with my mom and girlfriend, I have had the before but never gone to the actual resturant. The service was pretty bad last night, they are very small and if it gets crowded expect a wait. My mom was tired of waiting for the water so she just picked up a nearby pitcher of water and refilled our cups manually. The lady nearby said thats how you have to do it around here. My mom frequents the place and I guess once they get to know you they treat you more like a family member so you have to do stuff yourself.

Anyway the food is really good IMO. I love the Chinese Chicken Salad, its the best I have ever had! We also go tthe Kung Pow Chicken which tasted great. The eggrolls are very big and are also wonderful. The place itself is somewhat small, so I would say just order in advance and get it to go. If you like chinese food then this is a good place to go!

This is as great as a hole-in-a-wall can get.  The exterior of this place really does look like some sort of run-down hut but the interior is pretty cozy and transports you to a place where there are only friendly greetings and plentiful, delicious food.

I am super fond of their breaded chicken pieces in garlic sauce and the black bean noodles, along with other requisite soup noodles I can't seem to get anywhere else.  Granted, a lot of their menu items are probably geared more toward American palates (such as their fried rice and chow mien), but it's still done very well and I like it all the same.

Well, the food isn't bad, but I've had better.  The War Won Ton Soup is pretty good, but lately they've been getting skimpy on the ingredients in the soup.

I came here with a friend to actually eat in the restaurant itself and the experience was...less than satisfying.  The restaurant's atmosphere is dark and frankly, a little creepy.  What really got me, though, is that the waitress seemed ANGRY when I only ordered water ("Wha- no cocacola?!" *hmmph*)  There are so many Chinese places to eat around this area, I certainly don't need that from this little shack.

So far I've had the delight of eating here twice and I figure now is a good time to put in my two cents... My friend and I stopped here on a whim for some soup and I was happy to find out they had my favorite, Egg Flower! We ordered up a huge bowl and it was some of the best ever. The service was fast and friendly, too.

Fast forward to yesterday, I stopped by for an emergency batch of soup! I was pretty short on time and I think the waitress could tell so she put a rush on my order. Super sweet! This time I also tried the Vegetable Fried Rice... once again, some of the best I've ever had. Throw some Sriracha on it and you're in business!

As we drove down Union Ave I was thinking, oh great- it's going to be nasty. The buildings in this area are less than topnotch, to say the least. And my hopes weren't any higher as we pulled into the amazingly small and awkward parking lot. Our friend really wanted Chinese though, so we were determined to give this place a try.

To my surprise, the inside is kind of cool. They have a big fish tank in the middle of the restaurant too (everyone knows I'm a sucker for anything animal/reptile/fish related!). A big potted orchid decorated each table. Too bad it fell over during dinner and bashed me in the head- but it was still pretty!

The place wasn't empty by any means- probly 70% full, but we didn't wait for anything. We had an array of goodies to share, including kung pao chicken and mongolian beef, both totally decent. The beef was a tad fishy for my liking. The hot and sour soup could have used a little something... We tried adding the hot chili oil to spice it up but that didn't really do much for the flavor. The fried chicken was yummy but they brought it out with dinner, (it was ordered as an appetizer) so there was kind of too much food all at once. The fried rice was supposed to be of the chicken variety but it didn't have anything in it. It was still good though.

Maybe my expectations were just so low upon arrival I'm amping up the rating??? I'd go back here, though, especially during the lunch hour. The have a special seven days a week where you can get a ton of food for under $8!!

Union is one of the cheap and good quality Chinese Restaurants in all of Campbell.  It looks like a ghetto shack and most people won't even bother looking at it.  It's Americanized Chinese food but with a decent flavor and kick.  I usually order the shrimp and lobster sauce dish, and the Mongolian beef is also excellent.  The seafood soup is pretty delicious there.

    Food:  GOOD.
Service:  Lightning service and friendly waitress/waiter.
    Price:  CHEAP EATS!

    Return:  YES!!!

I pass by this place about twice a day. I noticed recently that it got  a "face lift" to its exterior. I decided to finally try it out tonight for some takeout.

The parking lot has an odd layout, and it is only one-way, with the entrance on Union. I found out the hard way, when I tried to enter from the other end.

When I walked in, several families with kids were dining. There were many tables and the decor was nice. The lighting was dark, however, and it was actually kind of chilly in there. I looked at the menu and placed my order. Steamed rice is not included with the entrees, and I was told that it was $2 extra by the older woman at the counter, taking my order. I asked if there was a cheaper, smaller size, and she said no. I placed my order and didn't even wait 10 minutes for it.

While I was waiting, I was looking at the menu again and noticed that steamed rice was advertised as $.90, instead of the $2 I was charged. When a man brought out my food, I mentioned this and he said that was the price for the smaller portion. I then told him that the woman at the counter had told me there was no other size other than the big one, and if she had been more accurate, I would have ordered the smaller size. He instantly apologized and offered to give me the difference in cash, while he talked to the woman at the counter afterwards.

The food was actually better than I expected, based on the looks of this place. I would go back again.

This place uses MSG in their food, and you have to specify that you don't want it when you order.

There is a $15 minimum charge for credit cards.

They offer delivery M-F, and not on weekends.

its friendly, accomodating and nicely renovated.

I took out a crock pot full of war won ton soup today for a potluck.  Everyone loved the soup!  Talking with Union staff was a pleasure - and boy do i love me some chinese food.  I will be back and I reccommend you try this place.  You will feel comfortable there and the food is tasty.

In a word.... DELICIOUS!!  I would recommend take out although the place has just been redone and looks decent.  I've tried a good majority of chinese restaurants in the area and this one is my fav.. hands down!

Hope you don't mind MSG although food can be ordered without if requested ahead of time.

A must try for all Chinese food lovers.

Awww yeah! It's my favorite neighborhood Chinese place. When I was a kid, we used to go here for dinner a lot, so it gets a star in the good memories category.

Although I no longer live in the immediate neighborhood, I've been a few times recently for both lunch and dinner and yup, it's still excellent. Prices are cheap overall, but lunch is an especially good deal. I dig the green onion beef for a lunch plate, super tender, thin slices of beef in a gooey, slightly sweet, slightly spicy sauce. I'm making myself hungry just thinking about it!

It's not perfect, but it's really darned good stuff for the price and the friendly service and aesthetics (looks like a dive from the outside, but pretty nice inside) give it a great atmosphere.

There is weird parking constraint and all one way. But the food is worth it. My niece and nephews are under my care while their parents are traveling. I asked them to recommend some place that they all would eat from tonight and they all wanted this place. Turns out their dad, my brother. Used to go here a lot for lunch when he worked in the area. The kidlets ordered over the phone: salt and pepper chicken, bbq sweet and sour pork, some noodles dish, sweet and sour soup and egg rolls...trying to remember what else.
They are all picky eaters. My skinny pickiest eater niece so loved their food, she was munching on the container of
beef dish later on (she usually takes 5 bites then says she's done so this is unusal). I was happy they all were eating since it costed me $60. (3 teens. 1 tween and one adult-me to feed).

I will be back for more since their food is extremely delicious. Try it! You just can not go wrong here, everything is tasty and deliciou.

Went here for Lunch today so this review is based on the Lunch Menu here which is priced from $6- $7.50 per person.
This is a decent place to fill your urge for Chinese. My friend ordered Shrimp with Mushrooms, it has a rich garlic ginger sauce and succulent shrimp that scream BITE ME! YUMMO! I had the Mongolian Beef- I order this at every opportunity and this one rivals some of the best that I have had. Tender, not mushy and best of all SPICY. The servings were large enough to share and they came with a cup of soup (I didn't eat this, too busy chatting) and either steamed or fried rice- we did fried, it was Good. Overall a good first experience here, will be back again.

I go to this place a lot for cheap but good Chinese food.

Things I order that are good:

Wonton Soup with Noodles... very savory but it's not on the menu so they may charge you more for it.

Lemon Chicken/Sesame Shicken/Sweet and Sour Chicken... they all kind of have the same sweet/sour dealio with some minor taste differences but all are pretty good.

Mongolian Beef... very savory and just Yum with white rice.

Chicken Fried rice... also a good staple that you must have.

Honey Walnut Shrimp.... VERY GOOD... not too sweet but just right.

All in all...like I've already said.....good place to get some cheap but decent Chinese Food.

The owners are very nice to me every time I enter their doors.  Maybe it's b/c I'm Chinese?

Fortunately, unlike most Chinese restaurants, these folks simply smile when they realize I don't speak a word of Chinese.  It's much better than getting ridiculed and lectured for not being Chinese enough - the primary reason why I avoid most Chinese restaurants.

Anyway, the food is delicious.  They give you quite a bit and for what you pay for, it's a bargain.

The place is a bit run-down but hey, it's all about the food... and it does come fast.  So that's a major plus.

    Very fresh!

Had house fried rice, lemon chicken, walnut prawns, and delux vegetables.  The only downside was that the tea was only OK.
