Ok, so every time I switch windows I lose my review! AND AGAIN! Every woman knows the literal pains of hair removal and we are always seeking new and effective ways that yield lasting results. I have had some nightmares in my past hair removal life like skin infections, etc!
My skin is super sensitive and I am not the best when it comes to doing the home remedy treatment. I'd rather leave that to the professionals!
I married an Egyptian man IN EGYPT so I embraced some of their customs. One of many, is the complete full-body hair removal sans eyebrows before your wedding night. I just did my face. The women were after me to get my arms done. Now if you know me you will understand that I am stubborn but also I have blonde hair. I tried to explain that I come from a cold climate and I am of nordic descent. I need my hair to protect me from the elements and keep me warm! LOL!
So the hair removal I opted for Fathla, or what we refer to as threading (http://myegyptianlife....). AMAZING! I loved it. It was cheap, effective, and left barely any redness to my skin.
The challenge was to now find a place in Edmonton that did the same! I found one! UniCutters! The secret weapon, Yasmine! The most lovable, friendly woman ever! She is a pro, she has been doing this for close to 20 yrs. She is fast, and entertaining! AND she is an eyebrow sculptress!
She also offers this service to men. I highly recommend men to get threading done to the hair that just lies outside the beard line.
Under an hour, $20! Threading lasts approx. one month or even more depending on your hair and the growth you are comfortable with!

This place is so dirty, everything from double dipping to not cleaning their equipment, in a word... Disgusting
