    EAT IF YOU DARE!

This place is no place to take mom (sketchsville) but insanely cheap and serves THE BEST BURGER I've ever eaten in my whole life.  I don't know what's in that meat, but I swear it must be illegal cos' it's so good.  It comes with home cut fries (made fresh to order) and you can have all the extra fixings you want at minimal cost.  For a whole meal you'll spend under $5 (to my memory) and get way more food than any fast food combo anywhere else.

The service is either amazing (sweet middle aged asian man) or terrible (old crotchety white dude), both equally adding to the experience-- seriously! I wouldn't dine in if I were you, just get your food and eat it elsewhere, unless you like dimly lit, dirty, 40 year chain-smoker-smelling restaurants.  Which you don't.  But try the burger and be impressed.
*sigh* I love hole in the wall gems.

Note*  I think it's actually called "Uncle Henry" restaurant, at least it is online!

the minute you walk in to this place you notice something very unfamiliar about it. The decor is like nothing you've ever seen before, with giant painted murals being covered by decorations of every athletic and religious nature. There's a lone old man in the back, watching tv who gets up to the counter. There's bags of potato chips and chocolate bars in a glass case beneath the cash register and items written up in chalk. The restaurant provides a lot of seating, in mismatched chairs and tables within two rooms with their own (unused) countertops. To sum it up, it feels like a diner someone set up in an antique shop.

I ordered the breakfast special for $4.25, and I wasn't disappointed. It took a while, but he cut up every potato and fried it on a griddle with celery, peppers, and tomatoes. Then he got some actual bacon and fried it up with two eggs and a side of rye toast. I didnt get to order how I liked my eggs, but I got them over easy.

The food tasted amazing! This guy can really cook! Combined with the surrealism of the place I gave the guy five and left scratching my head. He was preparing food for the rest of the day as I left. I would go back.
