A good sushi lunch spot for those working downtown. It's a small narrow restaurant located just outside of the Winnipeg concourse food court. This is the sister restaurant to the large dine in one on Kenaston. Like most sushi spots in the city, it is operated by Koreans so the rolls are slightly different from traditional Japanese style.
They offer pre-made bento box lunches that include 2 rolls and a miso soup or drink for $10, taxes included. The bentos aren't my fav as they include more "beginner" rolls like California, Teriyaki Chicken, Philadelphia etc. I'm not a fan of cooked rolls like those so I order a la carte and can have a nice lunch that includes nigiri for anywhere between $10-$15. And if you dine in - just use the marker on the table to mark up the quantity of items you want on their menu and hand the order to the server. Lunch is doable within the hour unless they are totally bombarded (usually on payday Fridays). There have been the odd time where I've had some wet/warm sushi rice in my roll but that's more of a rarity. The staff here are very friendly and the sushi is fresh.
