Review from Dustin D.

We were on our way home from a stay at a local resort and happened upon this little hot dog eatery one morning. I was dubious, hot dogs for breakfast? My stomach wasn't sure it agreed with that idea but we decided to give it a shot.
It seems like everything possible is either sourced fairly locally or made in house. We had the maple sausage breakfast and to be honest, I enjoyed it more than the $20+ breakfast I'd had at the resort we were at the day before. The staff was friendly and engaging and more than happy to answer questions.
Prices were reasonable, food was quite tasty. The owners stated that they'd taken over the business fairly recently. They're definitely worth stopping in on for an afternoon dog (or in our case a morning dog), their coffee is pretty good as well. -

I loved the chili dog and the small pot pies!
I didn't get to try all the cookies and other baked goods, or the soup, but they smelled good.
They have about 4 different topping-ed hot dogs on the menu.
This is one of the few "take out" places we found during our trip in Ucluelet (besides another, less memorable pizza place). We kept coming back since we were too intimidated to go "dine" at the fancy-looking restaurants more than once :)
At the end of May, the closing time was pretty early (I think 3:30), so beware!

This quirky little place is a great choice for an inexpensive meal. We stopped for lunch . My daughter had a mac&cheese dog - I was impressed by the flavor of the mac&cheese - it definitely wasn't neon orange Kraft. The weiner was a 1/4lb and was served on East coast style lobster roll buns which were fresh. I had a beef curry pot pie, light on the curry. The crust was flaky and delicious. I was able to get a mini salad with it. We also had a good cinnamon roll and a creative diablo cookie - chocolate cookie with chocolate chips, cinnamon and hot pepper. Yummy!
