This is the weirdest store/Uhaul ever.
For the location and Uhaul-ness of it, this is a 4 star. The service may be slow, the language barriers may cause a phone riff, but the guy means well (I think). And its close by! Out back there's a few choice Uhauls - a cargo van, a truck and one of those moving trucks that looks like a camper van. For $19.95 (plus km) it still came out 50% cheaper than the other car rental places.
Words to the wise: if your credit card carrier has rental insurance, make sure you decline theirs, check over your vehicle for damage and mark the sheet (they don't walk you through it) and fill it up. They look at the gas receipt!
For the "Convenience" store side of things, a big ol 1 star! It might look cool with lots of Eastern European types of foods, cookies, pickled vegetables by the caselot, but almost everything was expired... and expensive! Yick! No wonder there are kids who make faces at the thought of eating their greens! -

Very Shady, I went and bought small boxes, he charged me $2.40 ish per box. U-haul online says they charge half that and gives a deal if you buy more then 25. I asked him if he gives a deal if I buy more then 25, he said no. Of course I didn't find out about this till after I paid almost 70 bucks for 25 small boxes. After feeling like that was expensive, I went to several other places (U-Haul's and Home Depot) and found the same size or bigger for half the price. My GF was so upset with this, she called U-haul, they seemed very apologetic and pointed out a few facts about deals like this that I won't repeat here, because I don't want to DIS U-Haul as a company. But even though we just called to find out what their policy was for these hole-in-the-wall resellers (sorry for dis'ing, but I kind of feel like I was robbed). U-Haul Support gave me a $50 gift card for any future purchases. WOW!! Totally NOT Expected, U-Haul ROCKS!! (well the corporate support Rocks) Also if the guy who owns this store reads this comment, I would also like to suggest that you NOT SMOKE IN THE STORE!! OMG it wreaked of smoke.
I would give ZERO stars, but because U-Haul Corporate saved his butt, I felt bad giving one Star. :( He doesn't deserve it.
