It's Saturday night and I don't feel like cooking. I ask my sister what she'd like. We decide a toasted Roast Beef like the one they used to have at Yu-Yu's would be awesome. I Yelp it and out pops Two Sal's Pizza. The reviewers say a little hole in the wall, dude they weren't kidding. They say pretty inexpensive...it's almost downright cheap. They say delicious, oh yes it is! I ended up ordering a small little personal pizza to try it out. Blanca and I don't eat pizza much anymore, so when we do we like it to be good. I like it cheesy. She likes it saucy. This pizza was made with us in mind and the small for 5.90 and .50 for extra toppings was a good price and not a personal pizza. It was enough for both of us. It gave 6 smallish slices.
We also got the Roast beef sandwich. Toasted and delicious with just a little spice and crunch from the lettuce and pepperoncini. They were also made quickly. Way to go Yelpers!!! This place is now added to my must return places. -

Been coming here every so often for a few years. Each time I ask myself why I stay away for so long. I'm not much if a fan of any kind of pizza anywhere but my son loves Two Sals pizza. Their sandwiches are great!!! My favorite is the pastrami, avocado n cheese. They toast it and its an awesome sandwich. The price is really worth it too. A 12" sandwich costs $7. U can get a12" sandwich at Subway for $5 but the problem with that is... Its a SUBWAY sandwich, with very little meat. Ii told the "artist" once to act like he's making it for his mom! Two Sals is a little mom n pop place that really makes a perfect sandwich. My only knock is that there's no AC and it can get pretty warm in there with the oven being right behind the counter. You could always take it to go.

Loved the pizza here. It reminded me of my childhood favorite Barrios Pizza in North Whittier. The ovens were real old school and made the pizza taste yummy. They are not stingy with there cheese at all!!! The sauce was good. Wanted to give it five stars but other then the cheese falling completely off when getting a slice and they only receive cash only was not cool. Definitely worth trying.

I have been eating here since i was born, so 30 years! my family knew the owners before and they were great. I think the new owners are just as wonderful, and never missed a beat with the great food. The sub is the best sub on the planet! And i have had my share across the states. I once hiked up Mt. Baldy and when i was done was craving one so bad that i drove about 50 miles just to get one. The pizza is one if the best you will eat as well, gooey cheese and soft, but a lil crunchy crust. Da best! Two Sals is a hole in the wall by no doubt, and the only flaw i can think is on a hott summer afternoon, you gotta take your food to go unless you like eating in a sauna, cuz its a small joint, and with the sun beating down through the windows, and the pizza oven on, your gonna toast just like the bread on those awesome sammitch's. With all that said, i hope it never changes.

Don't know if either of the Two Sal's are around anymore, but the nice family who runs it is definitely carrying the tomato-sauce covered torch.
The Pros: The Subs (turkey avocado, meatball, sausage)
The Cons: Ca$h only
Do independent shops a solid and stop by for a bite sometime... Your tummy will appreciate (as will theirs)!

Just try this the other night, so where the hel have I been all these years? They're like a mile away from me, down the street from Domino's (eh?) but I digress...man, the pizza was/is killer. The Asian couple are charming and oh yeah there was like five Pico Sheriff's car out front. Now from what I gather most local law enforcement peeps know where to chow down. So as I walked in to the smallish joint I saw cops to the left of me, my call in order to the right of me. Oh man, it smelled killer in there; no wonder "Five-Oh" was in the house. The pizza is almost gone but the memory will linger. Oh and yes bring cash, the definitely don't take American Express! I'll be back....(Terminator voice-over) lol

Best Pizza in Pico hands down!!
Been coming here for years. What a great place. A lot of people love their toasted subs with turkey and avocado but in my opinion the main star of this place is the Pizza. No cardboard crust, no tasteless toppings on their pies only fresh, delicious indredients. Having lived in Pico Rivera all my life the Pizza hasn't changed at all. In fact, I can remember the original owners who were an Italian family.
Not too much has changed except for the fact that the owners are now Korean. Not that it even matters. What matters is can they make good Pizza and the answer is, YES they can and do!! In fact they make it the same way the original owners used to make it.
As others have noted, this Pizza is loaded with cheese so if you are lactose intolerant stay away. The crust is nice and crispy and the perfect thickness. I've been meaning to ask them about their Italian sausage because it is fresh and delicious. Man I'm getting hungry just typing about it. I think I'm going to order a pie tonight.
PS-they are closed on Sundays -

CASH ONLY PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Many many many moons ago, probably sometime in the early 90's, my grandma introduced me to this place. I remember the evenings when we would pick up a pizza and go home and indulge. The pizza reeks of freshness and quality. I have yet to introduce my beau to this bombness.
Every now and again, on my home if there is not enough time to get my A$% home to make dinner I stop and get 2 sandwiches to go.
I have had the turkey with Swiss cheese.,this is my favorite. The pastrami is what the beau likes and sometimes I switch it up and get this too. The sandwiches are over roasted and are sooo good. Prices are cheap for the sandwiches. The pizza is a little pricey from what I remember. -

I have gone to this two sals all my life since I can remember. Their pizza is one of the best with the cheese being so cheesy it won't quit until you cut it with scissors. Their pizza dough is always soft, crisp, and great for dipping in your favorite sauce. True mom and pop joint and even with change in ownership it hasn't lost it's quality and charm.

The garlic cheese bread is my WORLD! I am seriously considering eating ONLY garlic cheese bread for the rest of my life from two sal's! But the turkey avocado and the meatball sausage sandwiches are both delicious... I love this place. Like UH LOT!

I've been coming here for years. I've been to chicago and new york and I will say that this is one of the top 2 pizzas I've ever had in my life. Perhaps #1. The people are very nice and welcoming. Sandwiches are very tasty too. Not really pricey but only compared to 5 dollar pizzas. There are a few tables to eat inside but it's not a very big place. I can honestly say that if you try this pizza, you'll keep coming back.

I used to eat these sandwiches 20 years ago when I lived over on Gallatin Road. I recently moved to West Whittier and wondered if Two Sal's was still around. It was. I ordered a Pizza, Garlic Cheese Bread, and a Roast Beef, Ham, and Cheese sandwich. OMG! My friend and I could not decide which of the three was best because ALL THREE were FANTASTIC. The sandwich was toasty goodness and tasted the same as I remember. I have no idea how. It's been 20 years and there are new owners, but it was the same deliciousness. The garlic cheese bread was flakey, buttery and loaded with cheese. The pizza was a cheese lover's dream. I almost thought it had too much cheese. I asked my friend if she wanted to say anything. She said, "Ditto!"
