I'm completely hooked on this place and can't wait to shop online to get more stuff. The staff were superchill and friendly. Oh and the products smelled amazing. Not overly perfumey--just really nice clean scents and different scent combos.
For example, please do not miss smelling the pumpkin lavender. It is so sensual and tasty all at the same time! Think of it as your alone time with some pumpkin pie.
Some of the other chill scents included:
Neroli Cedarwood
and
Apricot Freesia
The prices were very reasonable and the spray bottles of the scents were $5 which I thought was the real bargain. There are also great free samples at the counter which now means I'm hooked on like 3 more of their scents.
They had facial care and mineral make up, but I didn't explore that as much. I was hoping for a little more explanation on that stuff.Listed in: Best of Toronto

I have walked past this place a million times and never paid full attention to it until I saw cupcakes in the window. And then realized they were soap. And THEN realized that this is an awesome Canadian store where all their soaps and lotions and makeup is handmade, in tiny batches, with lots of love.
The love part might be cheesy, but the owners do have PhDs in biology, so I think I trust that they know what's good for my skin. Not only that, but all their products are so adorable and just as nice for skin. I have really sensitive skin and I've never had any problems with their lotions and soaps, whereas I have gotten rashes from drugstore brands before.
This store has great products to help you take better care of your skin, and they also have a bunch of cute items (like the cupcakes) that make awesome gifts. Staff are super friendly and know a ton about their products, and it makes you feel good supporting local business while keeping your skin soft and smelling pretty.

Tval is like Willy Wonka's chocolate factory only it's products are meant for the skin not the tummy. They are however equally appealing in terms of colour, texture and scent! Not only do they keep you looking swell and fresh, they tingle and excite your senses! Everything is in the store is handmade and made in small batches and they come in minimal packaging. Plus they offer to recycle any used containers of their products. Staff are friendly and helpful and not overbearing or "hovers". Their soaps and skincare products are reasonably priced for what it is, prices are only a little more expensive than most drugstore brands, comparable to Lush maybe even a tad cheaper. I like to use their coffee soap it has such an unique scent and their cupcake soaps make great little presents!
