I hate to reivew a place I haven't actually been inside of (though certainly _heard_ on any number of occasions). I kept meaning to go there since at all hours of the night your can hear thundering garage-band punk and metal echoing from the space.
Some local friends said it used to be a hole-in-the-wall dive for blue-collar older guys, and then the owner realised he could draw in more business by letting grungy little punks and metalheads play live shows and drink up cheap beer there, thus the venue.
Reviewing "on reputation alone" just to get this entry going, and hoping a few more folks (equipped with earplugs) can brave this den of iniquity to write some better reviews.
