Review from Aaron P.
This place is essentially a soju bar/lounge cramped into a tiny space that is jam packed at night. It's one of those places where you do not specifically come to eat dinner, but it's not really a bar either where you come to watch a hockey game. It's a place where you come with a group of your good friends and just relax, drink, and have lots of fun. Oh, and I must mention the soju drinks here are amazing.
We came as a group of 7 so it was way too packed as we were all squished into a little booth, (like those times where you have to squish 5 people at the back of your tiny civic) it honestly felt like that. However, we ordered the yogurt and strawberry soju (which were both very delicious) and the server was very nice even telling me what the names of the songs that were playing on the speakers.
The decor of the place is very modern and fashionable, it's got a nightclub sort of feel to it making it the ideal sort of "lounge" for younger people to hang out. Again, this place IS a lounge so come here expecting to chat up a storm with your friends. Don't come here expecting to take tons of shots and get wasted because soju is very soft at only 20% and you should be leaving that for nightclubs anyways. They also offer huge beer towers which look like shisha bongs but instead contain a litre of beer (or maybe 2) and ice in the middle to keep it cool. It looks awesome and unfortunately the people I were with didn't like beer so we just settled with the flavored soju.
I'm a fan of this place simply because of the look and the environment. The ambiance is great and I love the sort of nightclub feel without actually having to go to a nightclub. Not to mention, I would definitely come again with more people and preferably not in a booth. Don't come planning to get smashed though because soju isn't very strong and you shouldn't be drinking if you are planning to get smashed anyways. -

No, this is not a re-hash of the early 2000s all ages club we used to go to....
I would never have stepped in here if it werent for yelp. I searched for patio, north York and came across this.
I can'tbelieve I'm almost 30 and have never tried Soju before. Well I have something to cross off that bucketlist. Not sure if this was authentic Soju as the menu states it's a Soju cocktail. Flavours include lemon, aloe, peach, yogurt, strawberry.
We ended up having 3 half litter bottles $12.95) of peach, aloe and yogurt - aloe being the best. Yogurt was surprisingly good too and tasted like Yopuly.
Reading the other reviews we were waiting for our edemame and snacks but it never came. So we ordered an appetiser of the kimchi veggie pancake. It was then a our snack plate of salad, sashimi, carrots and dip and edemame beans came.
The kimchi pizza was good except super spicy. If you are sensitive to spicy, ask if they turn it down. However the yogurt Soju was a welcome compliment with it's milky taste.
Soju is so dangerous because ofthe lack of alcohol smell or taste you drink until fall on the floor. But for some reason you also sober up really fast and want to order more!
There is a patio at the back that we still have to discover.Listed in: Thanks Yelp!, Unexpected Delights!! (Perks!)

7 mins walk from finch subway station. I've been here at least 20+ times in the past 2 years.
If you're a girl, do remember to order their delicious soju yogurt drink! It's a great girly drink ( corbonated and sweet) and the alcohol slowly creep Ito your blood stream ;)
They do offer food menu, but if you want good Korean food, try Nak wok by the Finch station. -

I absolutely LOVE this place! To be quite honest, it's because this was the first time I had GOOD flavour soju!
If you tried korean soju and hated it because it tasted really gross, you have to try this place & their flavoured SOJU! Out of all the flavours I had tried, I suggest YOGURT :D
The large soju is $20 dollars, and you get munchies with it for your first order! (includes: salad, egg soup mix with tofu, sashimi, japchae (korean glass noodles) , butter corn & I can't remember what else.
My friends have ordered chicken wings & fries, and they are just like most bar places that offer it.
As for the atmosphere, this place is occupied by asian folks ranging from 18-30+
but if your looking for some asian gangster loving, then this is one of the hangouts~ If you plan to go, go around 10ish because when it hits about 12ish, all booths are taken & then your left having to settle for something else because it's all packed!
Great place to just chill with people and drink! HIGHLY suggest it if you want some good tasting korean SOJU! -- but I warn you, it's only 20% alcohol; therefore you'll probably just get tipsy after 3 bottles are so.
I primarily only go here for their delicious soju yogurt, aside from that .. I don't suggest this as a place where you want to eat your dinner, because from time to time they don't have stuff.. well at least 2 out of 4 times they didn't have any food I had ask for, not sure if things have changed tho. -

a popular spot amongst locals and non locals, this small intimate soju bar, in the heart of k-town, packs a pretty extensive menu serving up all the great korean pub-style dishes. my favorites: budae jijgae and the tofu w/ spicy kimichi (forgot the correct name) When i say popular i mean it. On a monday night when most other bars in the area are closed before 12 i found myself waiting in line to get seats. speaking of seats, the booths are quite tight so if you're tall and lanky you might end up kneeing someone in the crotch so i would opt for one of the non-booth area. Also, the crowd for the most part is quite young aside from a few older generation asians. Great to just sit around drink soju (without any mixture ofcourse), eat and chat it up with your buddies.

OG Chinese people never seem to get tired of eating Chinese food do they? And so this was my last 4 days ...
One night - battling fatigue, MSG overdose and jetlag, Fred and I decided to take a walk around where we were staying. We found this place and happily entered since 1) it wasn't a Chinese restaurant 2) they had drinks other than tea.
We ordered a bottle of the large aloe soju (aloe and yogurt being their most popular flavors) for about $20.00. A few minutes after our carafe was delivered, they brought us a plate of small munchies - salad, edamame, pickled veggies etc ... then a few minutes after that, a plate of sashimi landed at our table. We figured this might have been a mistake so we flagged down the waitress who happily told us that it came with the soju. WIN! Talk about blowing away expectations!!
I enjoyed my free food, my yummy soju and people watched the emo kids at the tables around us. We kept talking about this place to Toronto natives for the rest of the weekend and were disappointed that we didn't get a chance to visit again. Next time for sure. -

This place is gotta be the nicest Soju Bar in Toronto. They have a water fall in the main area and they spared no expense on the interior. When this place first open it was almost impossible to get seats but I think the fad is dying down. Still, I prefer going here than any other Soju Bar. The crowd is mostly 2nd Generation and the patio is pretty awesome cause they have projector TV's playing sport highlights or whatever is on at 11pm on a Friday/Saturday. Food here is decent but the only downer is they don't do 26oz bottle service.
Ah well, if you're ever visiting Toronto and want to do a Bar I totally recommend Turbo as your first choice. If you can't get in theres plenty of other places around the area.
Lastly if you're here for eye candy or to pick up, lol forget it. It's pretty much all balls.
