Interesting place. It is built in one of the older motels on 111th Ave but don't let that deceive you. From the outside no one could fault you if you came to the conclusion that it'd be a dive bar inside, but nothing could be further from the truth. The inside has obviously been renovated and is pleasantly surprising when you walk through the doors expecting the worst. There is one bar which people like to lounge around and also quite a few tables for those who prefer to sit in groups or dine. The dance floor is a decent size and has a laser/mirrorball light show along with a DJ booth. In the back area are some pool tables if you feel like losing the crowd and just shooting stick for a few hours.
As for the crowd, I can't really give you a read on that because I just happened to go on a night where there was a large Valentines party planned by a dating site so it was quite busy with a relatively older crowd. On Friday nights, it's supposed to be 'Country Night', but I never heard the DJ play a single country song...but I'm sure he was catering to the dating site's clientele. I've read reviews on other sites which say that Saturday nights are "off the hook" because that it is their Latin Night. Given the experience I've had there, I wouldn't mind checking it out on a Saturday night to see what their regular crowd is like.
As for prices, there is no cover charge. The pints are fairly reasonable at $5.75. I also read that the entrees run from $10 - $15.
Pros: Safe crowd, friendly doorman and staff, good music and great prices. Late hours (3 am) and a convenience store right next door which is open late.
Cons: Parking. Very limited so you might have to search for spots in the surrounding residential or business areas.
