If you're looking for an original art piece for your home or office or a special gift, Tu Gallery has some beautiful work with stellar local craftsmanship. There are paintings, scuptures, carvings, furniture, blown glass, metal work and more. It is a gallery that showcases our local artists.
Artists are so consumed by their art they often don't take the time to effectively market themselves so the world can enjoy their creations. That's where Tu comes in. They have a passion for that side of things. They have put together a lovely and elegant show room and if you don't mind paying $10,000 for a desk or $750 for 3-D puzzle art, then bring your cheque book. If you can't afford it, it's still worth a look. The quality and vision are extraordinary, and there are a few lesser priced items, including hand-made wooden pens and jewelry. I like to stop and take a browse every once in a while to see what's new. -

Tu Gallery has some very beautiful wood art. There are tables, chairs, sculptures and a few paintings and medal works. The wood tables are what really stand out for me. Many are very detailed with patterns made entirely out of different kinds of woods. These are not tables that you would ever ever ever want to put ANYTHING on as they are more art than functional, however if you are looking for something very special for your space or someone else's, this would be a great place to start. All artists are local and their selection changes fairly regularly. This is a great place to check out if doing your own art walk on 124th!
