Review from Michael P.

It's nice to see a pho restaurant in the Burnaby Heights area!
I've driven by this place on numerous occasions (it used to be a Chinese fast-food restaurant) and finally decided to pay it a visit since no other pho restaurants nearby seemed to be open at 10pm on a Wednesday night. Thankfully this place closes at 11pm.
As usual, I order a large bowl of pho. Surprisingly, for a large bowl, the proportions looked a lot smaller than what I'm used to seeing at other pho restaurants. If I hadn't known it was a large, I would've easily mistaken it for a small bowl.
The soup was nothing special. In all fairness, it was late and I was one of the last customers that night. I will return one day and hopefully I'll have a more positive experience.
Street parking is available but the usual "no parking during weekdays from 3-6pm" applies. -

Ugh. Experience (and my uncle who is a chef) tells me that a good Pho is based on the broth (Don't believe me? Google the process on what goes into it and then tell me different!) and this broth is made from powder. It's fine in a pinch, but if you're looking for quality pho, look elsewhere!

This place was so-so. We really enjoyed the Bahn Mi, but the pho wasn't very good. We found it rather bland, and I was disappointed by the lack of seafood in the seafood noodle soup. Also the service was pretty terrible. We waited a long time for everything. We much prefer the pho place up at Hastings and Willingdon.

Indulged with my favorite Bin Bo Wae in the larger bowl (#13 on their menu).
A perfect pick me up on this cold rainy Monday early afternoon! -
Review from Bruce B.
I ordered bun Bo hue and was presented with tasteless bun Bo hue broth. No pork hocs. They used pho meat and lunch meat. I pointed out to owner and he said sorry ran out of ingredients. What the Hell? Why not just say we don't have any today and not serve slop! The goi cuon was mostly lettuce. To top it off they don't take credit cards. Very disappointing restaurant.

Had a huge bowl of Pho there today and wow was it ever amazing. My face was right in the bowl with fumes of basil and satay engulfing my pores. Yum yum yum! I hope the other customers didnt mind my excessive slurping. Incredible flavor experience. I need a cigarette....
