My friend and I stayed at Travelodge in North Vancouver for about 10 days for a winter. We arrived at 4:30 pm which is kind of past check-in time. The receptionist gave us forms to fill in and our key cards and then we headed to our room while dragging our luggage and dying to get some sleep. We arrived there to find the room door open, the sheets and the towels piled up in the middle of them room and someone dusting the TV.
We were told to leave our luggage and come back in an hour. We were not very hungry, but decided to eat before having any showers or naps.
After the room was ready, the rest of our stay went pretty OK. The heaters didn't do a very good job, but let's lot forget that Travelodge is a motel.
All the staff were polite, friendly, patient, and helpful in letting us know about directions and how to get to places.
The room was serviced fine and we always found it clean when getting back there from going around the town. The beds were comfortable and there was a table with enough room to use our laptop and their internet.
Overall, other than the incident upon our check-in, we were pretty pleased.
