We help businesses move excess and distressed inventory at close to their regular pricing. We also help fill excess capacity with new clients. Our members then take this extra revenue and use it to offset existing and future cash expenses to increase their profits. An example would be trading restaurant gift cards for renovations or trading empty hotel rooms for an advertising campaign. TEC sources supplier for our clients that are willing to Trade what they have for what they need. Our team of 4 professional Trade Brokers will work with your purchasing officer to source new suppliers that are willing to Trade. They will also provide a resource to move inventory, generate new clients for you, advertise your goods and services for sale, and basically be there to advise you of Trade specials that come available.
History
Established in 2002
Trade Exchange Canada was formed to provide a solution to the scattered Barter industry in Vancouver. Scott Berg and Wayne Edgar have been in the Trading business for over 14 years and found the companies in this industry in Vancouver were either being badly run or were too small to provide the proper format for Trading with larger corporations. Hence the beginning of Trade Exchange Canada. Scott and Wayne quickly came up with a solution to save the Trade balances of over 400 lower mainland businesses and have provided a safe Trading platform for them ever since. The client base has grown to over 800 businesses and with the current economic condition, continue to grow at a much faster pace than ever. With the new Trading team in place, they are poised for massive growth in Greater Vancouver to offset the declining business of their members.
Meet the Business Owner: Scott B.
Scott Berg was a Sunlife agent for 9 years in Greater Vancouver. In 1995 his passion moved to the Barter industry. What started out as a very interesting job has turned into a very successful business in Trading with over 800 business clients. My business partner Wayne Edgar and our staff of extremely talented Trade Brokers Loni, Lindsay, Brie, Kerrry and of course our sales guru Ren have developed the largest retail Trading system in Western Canada.
