GREAT place to go to for all your smoking and/or growing needs. 3 stories, they have everything you could ever need, and have been quite helpful in guiding me to buy things they did not sell (butane lighter).

Prices range based on quality, and they have everything from the inexpensive $5-10 pipes to the expensive RooR waterpipes.  The staff is also quite knowledgeable and always ready and willing to help.

Recommend these guys for all your needs.

I have been going to THC for most of my smoking needs for quite some time now and have always had friendly staff and exceptional service, except for this one particular guy who has long dark hair, a beard, and was wearing a tangerine dream shirt on that particular day which was May 5, 2012 - the Global Marijuana March (in case those at THC read this - strongly suggest he is let go). I was in there with the full intent of purchasing an oil rig. He approaches me and asks if I need help and I ask to see a product. Not 5 seconds am I looking at it and he says to me, " I don't have all fuckin day to wait around man, do you want it or not?". So I just said I wasnt sure yet and I would let him know. So when he continued to "help" other customers he was incredibly condesending and rude. Someone pointed out a specific Roor and asked how much it was and he says " I dont fuckin know man, 100 bucks to 3000 bucks" and walks away. Another patron asked for a price, he then says "Its $250, can you afford that?". Just complete asshole behaviour to every single person he came into contact with. People politely ask him for directions, he says " Why the fuck would I know Im not a taxi fuckin driver" - and while that may be true there is no need to answer like that. I doubt that is how Dominic Cramer (owner) wants the employees to behave with customers. So when dealing with this particular employee, I have always felt rushed (even when not busy), annoyed, and unappreciated at a customer in the store. THC has always put high prices on mediocre glass but I have tolerated it because I like to support the cause and they have all been so friendly except for the one guy. I would STRONGLY suggest you completely avoid THC and just go to FRIENDLY STRANGER, unless you are looking for a Roor (for some reason) and feel you can tolerate his digustingly terrible attitude and service. Unless I some how find out he has been fired, I will absolutely not spend a dime there and I suggest you all do the same.

One of the more decent popular Toronto head shops.  Prices are standard, selection is good.

Customer service is hit-or-miss... I find a lot of the employee's here are quite condescending when talking to me about weed/paraphernalia.  They will take any opportunity to ramble on about how much they know (or think they know) about whatever (i e- buying a bong and I get a 15 minute shpeel about resin build up and how a $20 abrasive cleaner is an absolute necessity). Don't judge a book by it's cover- I've been smoking pot everyday for almost 10 years.

If you've got a pot-head friend, you're surely to find a gift here they would like. Nifty little stash cans/tins,  funny magnets/pins, 17820371 different types of rolling papers, hemp clothing, etc.  I was just in recently picking up glass screens ($2 each, $5 for 3) and noticed they were selling I-Path's?

    Debit over $5 only.

Believe it or not I brought my mom here yesterday with me to pick up a Hookah because on the website it said they carried them. I also knew they had wicked incense I love and a few other things.

Immediately we were greated by a friendly guy at the cash. I headed up the stairs to find my hookah!
Another friendly man came over smiling and very helpful said they have a horrible selection of hookahs and said to go across the street to the "smoke shop"!
I bought the rest of the stuff I needed and headed across the street.

I love this place! I feel very compforatble going there EVEN WITH MY MOM!
Very friendly, welcoming atmosphere. They have funky music blasting and its really "chilled out".

    There are 3 levels:
    Basement- the "garden"section,
    Main floor-accessories/clothes/smoke stuff/incence/hemp stuff
    Top floor- ALL bongs,pipes,ect.

Went here for the first time recently.  It is bright, clean and well stocked.  I would say if you want it then you will prob find it here and you will pay for it.  I bought a grinder and when i got it home found I had paid double what I could have paid getting it from the manufacturer's website.  But this is Canada and we always get shafted into paying more for stuff.  Need an elevator, I hate the stairs.

You gotta love Toronto for having a store like this right front and center on the busy Yonge corridor. When I think hemp, I think of 70s hippies, but this is definitely not your typical hippy store.

They sell a lot of really neat hemp products, such as clothes (actually pretty nice things) and hats, body lotions and creams, t-shirts. I tried one of their body lotions, I'm not sure what it's called, but it actually smelled surprisingly good.

The main floor, although undeniably cool, the basement is where all the action is. You can buy seeds and soil to grow your own, they supply all the materials you'll need (yes including lights)... For $4000 you can buy an actual machine. It's this big-ass time capsule like machine, which has the plants on the side panels of the doors. It looks kinda scary but cool nonetheless.

The name says it all: hemp. But it extends beyond the hippy wear sported by treehugging folk. Lotions, creams... yes. But the most interesting element of this store was the fact that they have tools and supplies for you to grow your own hemp. Talk about bringing it back to the grassroots. That stuff tends to be on the more expensive side, but in case you want to just have a gander at what it takes to make the stuff...

3.75++ Great staff, eccentric products of hemp and silly t-shirts and accessories. Great gag gifts and cool hemp type items. LOL Have fun and stop by here and buy some sweaters, or some cool magnets.
