This terminal is made up of 2 stations, 1 for arrivals and 1 for departures.

The place seems to be busy every time I am here to take a bus in our out of the station.  There are a lot of seats in here but not many stores in the station.  That's ok though since it's surrounded by a lot of stores and even has a street meat vendor out front.

If you're here for a day trip there are a lot of lockers for you to store your bags etc.  I notice the price of the lockers seem to be sky rocketing though.

The lines are pretty nice were people actually obey them, I recently came back from Italy and can appreciate our lineups now that have a roped in area for people to line up and stand.

There are washrooms on the premise as well as pay phones and taxi's.  If you want to catch a subway you need to exit the building at Bay St and cross the street into the building with the Red Lobster sign.  Everything is pretty close and the people working the tellers will help you out if you ask them.

For what it is, it is a-ok.  It's a transit hub, a welcome-to-Toronto space or an I'm-so-ready-for-adventure-get-me-out-of-here-now waiting spot.  It's grey, it shows its age.  There's no attempt to spruce it up like an airport and while the exterior of the main terminal building is Art Deco, it is incredibly easy to miss despite its size.  It definitely doesn't give a first-time visitor a great impression of the city.

The main transit stop in Toronto for Greyhound and Megabus, there's always a tonne of comings and goings in that corner of Bay and Dundas St W.  The departure area to queue up for a scheduled departure can get a bit nutty during peak times as lines can wrap around the building, with traffic controllers having to direct people to move out of the way for incoming buses.  There's a sitting area inside the building, but if you're going to somewhere popular like New York, you might want to stand in line outside as soon as you can to get on the first scheduled bus.

There are hot dog vendors nearby, a food place and washrooms on the lower level.

This place is always busy on weekends. Lineups can be long and it is first come, first serve on the buses. Because of this, sometimes you have to arrive really early and then get into line 45 minutes before the bus departs just to get a seat. When the lineups get really long waiting for the bus, it gets pretty chaotic and the bus drivers actually have to direct the lineup to move out of the way. It doesn't seem very efficient or safe, but as long as the drivers don't run anybody over I suppose it's ok.

The arrival terminal is across the street from the departure terminal which can be a little weird and confusing for first timers.  The departure terminal has lots of lockers for storage, seats for waiting passengers, dirty bathrooms and screens that may or may not work.  There is also an unappealing food place that sells overpriced sandwiches. If you have time to kill I'd walk around to eat as there are plenty of restaurants in the area. Otherwise, the hot dog stand in front of the departure terminal entrance may be a good choice.

As coach bus terminals go, Toronto's is resoundingly meh. It's not as ghetto as most I've seen in the US--it feels fairly safe. But the washrooms still stinks of pee and poverty, and the place is reminiscent of an old movie scene involving a lonesome New Years or Christmas Eve stuck far away from home. Since the GO Transit moved its bus terminal down to Union Station years back, the placement of this station seems a bit odd: It is a stroll from Dundas Station, although there is an underground path available. But I guess it works.

Convenient located between St. Andrew Station and Dundas Station, on Dundas Street. There is a waiting area with overhead screens that tell you the departing time, location, and most importantly the platform.

The greyhound and megabus come here. I wish the neighbouring streets were cleaner as it feels ghetto.

This didn't seem that ghetto to me. I was here on the bus from NEW YORK (Megabus) and  after the whole night trip we arrived here at Toronto Coach Terminal safe and sound.  Sadly, an hour and a half late but I had no problems with this location as my welcome back to Toronto area
