For a restaurant situated in a huge tourist attraction, I'm surprised that they didn't inflate prices and overcharge for their food. The dining options are limited on the American side within the park and this place has a great view.

I got the beef on weck sandwich, which was basically a French dip. The roasted top round was good with the au jus, but I couldn't understand how they expected me to dip it with a kummelweck roll (a round salted caraway roll). Sometimes, it's better to just stick with the original - a baguette would have been much better for dipping. I also tried some of the buffalo chicken wrap. I guess the buffalo wing sauce is different here - the flavor is more bold and it's more viscous, almost with a honey-like quality. As we were leaving, I saw that every other table had ordered the fish and chips. The fried haddock was huge and looked to be an entire fried fish.

For $10-15, Top of the Falls was a reasonabe dining option and the food wasn't half bad.

Except for the view the restaurant offers it's definitely not worth eating there. They have to update the facilities and menu. You end up paying so much for eating low quality food but with the view on Niagara falls. Is it worth it? No. Better take a drive to further places around the falls and enjoy nice food.

Great views of the falls and fireworks!

We were seated very quickly, but it took a little while to get a waitress. The service was very slow, but the waitress was nice and I wasn't in a rush. Just stopped by for drinks and the cheese and fruit plate. The cheese and fruit plate was a lot better than expected. All very fresh and delicious. The drinks were also quite good. I had the sangria, which had a nice fruitful flavour and was a good size.

All in all a pleasant experience.

The view was fabulous! We arrived for lunch about 11:30 and were seated immediately. Outside seating was full but inside was open. Our waiter was a little slow and seemed a little confused but managed to get everything right. I had a beef on weck that was great and my husband had a burger that was okay (they warn you in the menu that the state requires them to cook the burgers well done). Everything was hot and fresh, fries were hot & crisp.

There must be a new manager as this woman was running around checking on things and doing whatever needed to be done to try and make sure everyone was satisfied.  We were impressed with her and how hard she was working.  Reading some old reviews I guess she has turned this place around.

We would go back to this restaurant. We enjoyed our meal and the view is just amazing.

Don't bother with this place just for the view.  We had the classic burger and it was very bland.  The garden burger was cold and pretty bland as well.  The menu on Labor day weekend was limited ("because we expect a high volume"), so they only offered some sandwiches, wraps, and burgers as main meals.

We heard there was a place you could eat at that overlooked the Niagara, so knowingly, we had to try it out. After a really long day of trekking through the woods and snapping photos, we make it to the Restaurant, but not before enjoying the mist and views of the Horseshoe Falls and then retreating for a nice lunch. Of course, that lunch was boggled by bad service and bad food. We go in and get seated outside to get a better view of the falls. They give us four menu's, and we see Iced Tea Lemonade being listed. Mhmmm, maybe we'll try it out? We ask for it and get told pretty rudely that the Iced Tea and The Lemonade don't come together and that it's simply a typing error on the menu. Okay, and that's our fault how?

We get our Lemonades minutes later and it's grossly watered down. Only how are we suppose to drink this without straws? 20 minutes later and we ask the waitress for them. Turns out she had them in her pocket the whole time and forgot to give them to us! Whoops. Our food doesn't arrive until a good 2 hours later. It turns out to be a huge disappointment for some. Seriously, Pasta Primavera with no sauce? St. Louis Ribs that aren't smoked? Well alright my ribs weren't bad taste wise, but the Pasta Primavera was seriously lacking in the flavor department, but where it lacked in flavor, it made up for indefinite amounts of grease, YUCK. We end up leaving the restaurant with a feeling of melancholy. Hey, at least we got a great view.

Beautiful location overlooking one of the world's most scenic and breathtaking vistas...completely ruined by absolutely terrible service and food.

First, the food.  Stay away from the salads.  I know it's out on an isaldn surrounded by waterfalls...but is fresh lettuce too much to ask for?  The chicken cordon blue was a mixed bag with nicely grilled chicken on a soggy pretzel roll, and way too much dijon sauce with little to no flavor overall.

I wont name the server; but the following mistakes were made:  seated without placeware (had to ask), spilled drink order on table(did not clean up, had to ask, and only then brought napkins), never received drink refills (supposedly free, but never actually refill, even after asking), waited over 20 minutes with empty plates without contact, asked for a dessert we had seen at another table...resulting dish looked nothing like what the others had, had to wait another 15 mins for bill.  We were completely ignored and discarded by our server, which is absolutely inexcusible.

I guess they figure with such a majestic location, the tourist traffic will come in, and they don't have to worry about repeat customers...well I hope I can prevent someone else from such a terrible experience.

You'll get better service at the snack bar...

Soggy flavorless sandwich anyone? Stay away from this place unless you want to grab a beer and some hotwings. I was in a party of 3 and we all ordered the Buffalo Combo. The menu said that all sandwiches come with fries... aparantly not so.

Our waitor was kind but not very knowledgeable about the menu or the bar.

Our food came and it appeared that what we got was supposed to be a french dip, however the aus jus came late, cold, and very bland. Good thing the sandwitch was already soggy! And my plate did happen to come with fries... In the sandwich

My girlfriends drink (a mojito) was missing alcohol... although my Sam Adams wasn't :)

All in all I wish we would have gotten something at the food court.

This place gets 2 stars...only because of the VIEW and service was adequate when we were there.  My family and I went there last Sunday for a late lunch at about 2.  Even though there were tons of empty tables we still had to wait 30 mins to be seated.  (Must be poorly managed)  The food, I'v had better at Applebees!  We just ordered a bunch of appetizers to split and munch on.
Brushetta-tasted like a microwaved Jenny Craig Entree
    Chicken Wings-Small and dry
    Chicken Quesadilla-Meh
    Chickenfinger Wrap-blah
Just don't eat here!  But while you're on Goat island definitely check out Three Sisters Islands, where you are able to get rediculously close to the raging river if you want.

A lil overpriced like everything else in Niagara but for the view of the Niagra, $12 hot wings was worth it.

Joe Sorrentino has been really great to work with - he and Laura have gone above and beyond to make a fabulous wedding day for my clients from Queens.  The chef has been very willing to work with us on the menus and we are looking forward to a wonderful wedding reception thanks to their hard work.

Well, after the wedding this is what I have to say about this property - first off there was a marked lack of communication after I wrote the first part of this review - seemingly roped in and then left to dangle away.  Joe fell off the face of the earth and was not communicative at all, leaving Laura to pick up the pieces.  The day of the event there were many missing pieces:  forgotten entrees for the children at the party, wine ordered was not produced, and my assistant and I had to bus the entire party area as there were not enough wait staff on to service the event.

    I would book with caution.

Looks can be deceiving.  You may think that this wonderful building is the home of a first class eating establishment.  Not so.  It's clear that they know most of their customers are tourists who are not likely to come back anyway, so they don't see a need to try very hard.

The service was slow.  But our waitress had plenty of time to flirt with the male waitstaff in full sight of everyone.

We could see the pass window from our seats and noticed a lot of dishes under the warming lights.  When my food finally arrived it was cool to the touch, so I sent it back.  The easiest dish - which didn't even require any cooking - took the longest to arrive.

When we finally got hot food it was nothing to brag about.

Believe me, two stars is generous for this place.

This place has the potential of a great restaurant if it wasn't for the horriable food, my daughter got mac and cheese and it was easy mac made in a microwave...ugh.... There prices were high for such poor quality food. With their location and view i was expecting so much more... i can't believe people would have weddings here.  Also they don't have an address so good luck finding it.... but willie got us there after being on the phone with him for 20 min.
