Soups are a great deal and delicious to boot (accompanied by a nice bun for less than $5!).
Not a fan of the baked goods, but for a quick lunchtime spot, this fits the bill. -

A much-needed high end cafe w/ free wifi in this area is always good ;) Come to think of it, no Starbucks/Blenz nearby...
Didn't try their coffee or panini sandwiches, just their blueberry cheesecake which was pretty generous w/ its toppings of blueberries. Better be for $3.75.
Modern decor, w/ a few nice leather chairs w/ other table seating. -

This review is solely for their coffee and it's a-ok. I quite like the taste of Caffe Umbria coffee roast.

I paid $4.48 for a grilled cheese sandwich to go here... That is 4 dollars for two slices of bread and one slice of cheese microwaved and then put in a panini press for less than two minutes. I would urge you not to do the same.
Also the owner glared at me when I came in. Would not visit again. -

My experience with Toosheh coffee was really posotive. It was a sunny afternoon this last Monday, me and my hubby were on the way home when he invited me for a coffee and cake :) We were on Cambie street and I remembered I saw Toosheh coffee from outside many times and never tried it before (we have an agreement to try to go to a new places now more often).
I LOVE coffee places that have cheesecakes and tarts and many other sweet choices, so maybe thats why I fell in love with Toosheh :) We ordered a cheesecake with fresh blueberries on top, and a cup of latte. It was really enjoyable :) Cheesecake was so yummy and coffee was pretty good too :)
Now Im bugging my poor husband to take me back there for that yummy cheesecake. I want to try also tart with fresh blueberries on top :) -

New coffee house, nice atmosphere, lots of light. Free WiFi, a variety of seating, good coffee. Standard variety of pastries and sandwiches - though I didn't stick around too long to really dig into it.

I've been looking for a good espresso place for a while now, and this will be my intermediate retreat till I find that one elusive shot. They do seem to have some really tasty treats. I tried their smoked salmon sandwich and I wasn't let down by the tate. The staff here is friendly and does't mind having a chat with the customers. Nice ambiance, a lot of seating space and free wifi are definite plus. Not the best of views outside though. If this place was on the seawall I would have still given it 5 stars.

I think it just doesn't hit what I'm looking for in a coffee shop. This one felt like it was trying too hard for a sort of hip minimalism...which made the place seem bare and a bit uncomfortable. Coffee was decent and the croissants were good but not great.
