Great Pizza to get delivery from. Our Go-to is the the thin crust , cheese, pepperoni and spinach/tomato, or pepperoni and sausage. The Deep Dish is also good, but pretty standard. It is one of the least greasiest pizza joints and will not leave you in regret after hauling down a few squares! The wings are also good; very meaty but not too crispy.

We probably order here every 2 weeks, and crave it in between!

The first time I went to Chicago, we got pizza at one of the traditional Chicago deep dish places. It was good, but busy. Plus, I always try to find something more.

    This is that "something more".

The pizza is just as good, if not better, than the traditional Chicago pizza places that everyone seems to know about. The service, however, is amazing. It's a nice neighborhood, "unknown" sort of place. There's only about 5 chairs, so it's not meant for eat-in (though they certainly don't mind.)

The owner (or general manager, I'm not 100% sure) has come out and talked to us both times I've visited. He loves to talk and get to know people, and it adds a very nice "homey" atmosphere to the place that makes me keep coming back.

Yes, if you eat in, you may not get the "traditional" restaurant atmosphere. But it's an amazing atmosphere and experience, and I'll keep coming back when I visit Chicago. (It doesn't hurt that it's about a block away from the subway station!)

I've eaten a lot of Chicago pizza in my 10 years here. Toni's was a pleasant surprise.

The stuffed is a lighter version of Girodanos with a with a bit more "umph" from a zesty blend of herbs. There is just as much cheese but less sauce and the crust is thinner. Loved it!

The thin crust packs a lunch w flavor but is a bit heavy on the cheese. Ingredients taste fresh

Portion size: a small stuffed really does feed 3...that was not a typo on the menu!

Service: delivery was 30 min later than the quoted time...with no apologies.

With such amazing reviews for Toni's the pizza I got really caught me off guard.  I do intend to have their pizza in person some day, but as of today I've only had delivery and honestly I was nothing but disappointed.

I'll start out with the good.  I think the flavor of the mixed spinach and cheese topping was pretty good.  As the lady said when I ordered, it was better than just having fresh spinach put on top of the cheese.

In the end though, I can get over the doughy-ness of the crust.  I had one thin crust and one pan pizza.  Both were lukewarm at best.  The pan was completely soggy and the thin crust wasn't crispy at all.  I can see where the pan would get soggy over time and so delivery doesn't do it justice, but the thin crust just plain seemed under-cooked.

Again, maybe their pizza just isn't made for delivery and I'm willing to give them another chance; just never for delivery again.

First off, I will always support local family owned and operated businesses.

I wanted a tasty Za that was made with love, and that is certainly what I got.

Veggie pizza was the best ever. All organic and fresh veggies.

Their crust was crumbly but not as thin and crisp as I would like, but hey.. it still rocks as far as pizza goes.

This is my new delivery place for sure!

It's a little mom and pop pizzeria hanging off the corner of Milwaukee and Hubbard.  It's a red building so you can't miss it.

The "restaurant" itself has a few bar stool seats against the walls for those wanting to dine in.  The menu offers more than pizza; subs, pasta, ribs, salads, appetizers, etc.  This place appears to specializes in delivery and takeout...not dining in...but you can.  I'd say the dining space is smaller than my bedroom.

We order a takeout pan pizza and it was ready when I was scheduled to pick it up.  By the time we got home the cheese had cooled off enough we could eat.  The cheese was baked till it had a golden crust in some areas...delicious.  The crust was crisp on the outside and softer on the inside.  The sauce was so robust and full of flavor.  It was so good I had two slices!

I have to put it bluntly, I did not like this pizza. At all. My wife said it best when she described it to me as tasting like cafeteria pizza.

I had a thin-crust pepperoni pizza, and I think there were maybe two slices of pepperoni on the top, and presumably the rest must have been under the cheese. If it was, however, it was nigh undetectable. The cheese itself was thick (which can be good), however it congealed to form something of a solid cover that would slide right off the pizza. The crust and sauce were ok, but nothing to write home about.

I wish I could say better things about it since I really would like to support a small family-owned business, but I can't in good conscience recommend people eat here when the food is on the low end of mediocre.

Excellent thin crust pizza. Opted for sausage and found Toni's used top quality ingredients that combined to create a superb pizza.

House salad was a pleasant change from the salad in a "bag" that one often finds at other pizza places.

Pizza ready in promised timeframe and notified by phone that it was ready for pickup.

This is a really solid local deep dish place. I prefer Chicago style to thin crust pizza whenever I'm given the choice. We didn't get the spinach and now I'm regretting that. The place is small but you technically can eat there (we BYOB'd it) and the staff are very friendly. Plus they play good music.

A domestic pizzeria Connoisseur, well versed in the art of sampling slices from NYC to LA and my favorite pies in the middle... Chicago style. I've tried all the local spots around here (well those in or near the loop) and I have a new and confirmed favorite: Toni's!!!

Lou's wins for the buttery crust, Giordano's for sheer thickness, and Uno's for being the pioneer; Pat's for it's thin crust and Pequod's for that deliciously burnt crispies on the edge, but Toni's is an all around champ due to: Quality of it's ingredients (everything is made from scratch), crispy bottom crust (not easily achieved in a stuffed pie), proportionate mozz - spinach - herb - spice blend, and overall mouthwatering, savory goodness.

My girlfriend and I agree... their Stuffed Spinach beats out our previous fav Bella Bacinos hands down and we will definitely continue to order / try new combinations from Toni's. I also like that it's family owned and run by a husband and wife... happy to show my support.

PS... we do not weigh a combined 600 lbs either (not that it's a problem if you and your loved one do)... I just thought the side note deemed relevant given the amount of Za i suggested that we consume :)

Try it and you'll love Toni's!

I just came here yesterday for lunch for the first time.  It was a little busy (there were 5 people, but it's a tiny shop), so things seemed a bit disorganized and crazy.  My boyfriend got the salami and caprese sandwich and I got the tuna salada sandwich.  Both were absolutely great.   My one issue was that they were talking about this one bad Yelp review they got while there were still customers in the store.  I don't really care if what the review claimed was true or not, but I don't want to think about food poisoning while I'm eating your tuna sandwich.  If you were wondering: no, I did not get sick.  I felt like a million bucks, actually.

All-in-all it's a great little sandwich joint and it shouldn't be missed.

Found out from Toni that they deliver to Richard's bar for free.  She said " why not, they are only a few feet away" Advice my local florist could use, that numb nuts is the same distance from me and would charge $15 minimum to travel the same distance.

Good info I could have used moments before walking in for a slice.  A quick search on my smart phone (the Yelp app) for pizza slices nearby and here is where we found ourselves.  Two thin crust options available at 10:30 pm on a quiet Monday night.  Sausage or spinach.  We opted for spinach which I loved.  Crispy crust with almost a full cup of spinach.  Every bite had an ample amount of spinach, cheese and sauce.  It was yum and I felt like I got a good amount of veggie into my diet.  Definitely a place I'd hit up for a second go.

Organic and tasty, hell yeah.  I also like that they have Aranciata in cans and serve Santa Cruz organic juice. Toni's is a small location on the corner.  Two tables for two each on the inside and their outdoor seating is now open with a bunch of twosome tables.

    Slices are $3.84 each.

Solid little family owned pizza and sandwich place. Good addition to the neighborhood.

If there is one knock on the place,  they can be a little on the slow side getting your order together for pick up (even when you call well ahead) but not a huge deal considering I like supporting friendly local businesses plus you can hang out and read the paper or watch TV at the counter there.

I'd stick to the pizza though - the sandwiches are very average.

Our neighborhood is full of great pizza and sandwiches...why would another place try and make it here?  In fact, this location has been the site of many failed restaurants but I believe that Toni's is going to be around here for a long time.

We did not have the pizza or the pasta but it smells amazing...stick your nose in there if you do not trust me.

We were hungry and we wanted sandwiches but we didnt want to wait in line at Bari for 45 minutes...in fact we were catching a flight to Europe and we were running a little late.

The door was locked but when they saw us they opened it and asked what we wanted.  We said a couple of sandwiches and they said that would not be a problem.  So they started making our sandwiches with all of there fresh ingredients.

The sandwiches were really good...in fact they stood in a class all by themselves over all of the other sandwich places in the area.  I think what made them stand out was how thin they shaved the meat.  I have to tell you that thinly shaved meat brings out the flavors of the meat.  They did an amazing job and we will definately be back.  Unfortunately that would have been last Sunday but we walked up to the door only to find out that they do not open until 4pm.  It was 2pm and there was no one to save us with food.  I recommend you call first.

I also saw that there is a nice little outdoor patio too.

Toni keep up the good work and thanks for feeding us some yummy food.  We can not wait to try more!!!

I live in the neighborhood and was thrilled when Toni's opened and the sign said organic pizza.  The food is delicious and the place itself is really quaint.  I tried their spinach pizza, which they re-made from scratch for me because they were out of it at the time.

I recently called them and asked if they would  prepare caprese salad for about 15 guests I was entertaining.  Toni prepared a delicious salad for me, all prepped to just place right onto my serving tray.  The salad itself was fresh and delicious and my guests were thrilled.

Overall Toni and her husband are just really nice people - the first time I went there I had groceries in my hand and couldn't carry the pizza box out of the store - so they offered to drop me off at my front door!  This place is definitely a neighborhood gem and it's nice to know that the people behind the counter are preparing my food with some tlc.

This place is not as great as the reviews suggest. Pizza is average.. definitely little suspicious how they have all these 5 star reviews where the yelper only wrote 1 review(for Toni's)... They also charged me for 2 full-price toppings when I ordered a pizza with half bacon and half sausage. Little ridiculous.

I don't eat much pizza, but I'm considering a change to that habit. Toni's has some of the best pizza I can remember eating: crunchy crust, sensibly limited cheese (such that a slice does not become a gooey and fatty mess), and generous toppings (a spinach slice came piled high with the green leaves).

My visit was for a single slice and a can of diet coke, but by the time I finished that delicious slice of sausage pizza, I had to order a second slice, trying the spinach topping. The service, too, was excellent; it seemed that the entire family was working the kitchen and counter (husband, wife, and daughter), and their care for growing the business was evident. Also, newspapers were available for browsing while waiting for the pizza slices to be rewarmed or while eating; I glanced through the day's Trib.

When I lived in Little Italy I frequented sandwich shops like Conte di Savoia and Fontanos on a regular basis (name-dropping sandwich shops, showing credentials).  By now I recognize a great sandwich when I eat one, and I even have a short list of sandwich "turn offs":
-Bread that assaults the roof of your mouth,
-Trace amounts of meat/cheese or an overbearing presence of lettuce and other fillers (I'm looking at you, onion)
-Soggy bread due to someone getting trigger happy with the Italian dressing

So please let me tell you, dear review reader, that the salami, ham, and provolone (Toni's Special) is a damn-near perfect sandwich.  I've had the pizza at Toni's too, and it's good (the kind of good that comes from quality/fresh ingredients), but I'm going to have a hard time not ordering the Toni's Special sandwich whenever I pop in there.

Great addition to the neighborhood for pizza subs and pasta. I had your pizza today and it was perfect. I live at Echelon at K Station next door so love the convenience.
Your customer service is first class as some restraunts in River North that charge $50 a plate could take some lessons from you.

I'm very picky when doling out five star reviews. The food here is pretty good. We've gotten a lot of pizzas and subs from Toni's and haven't been disappointed, but they also haven't blown us away. The place has a great home-town neighborhood feel, which I love.

However, I just can't give it four or five stars due to the slowness of the service and confusion that often occurs with deliveries. They are a little unorganized and slow to take orders at the counter.

I'll still go here (probably every couple of weeks, in fact!) and deal with the slowness. I sort of adds to the charm. :o)

Toni's Pizza is one of the better pizza spots that I've ordered from in Chicago.  If you're from here, that's saying a lot due to the saturation and competition.  Their stuffed, hand tossed and thin crust are all awesome.  Tony's Pizza also caters to vegetarians very well.  Besides their phenomenal pizza (never tried anything else), their service is impeccable.  They are THE nicest people.  I would highly recommend giving them a shot.

Wow!  This little place has some amazing pizza.  It's in the running for the best pizza I've had in my life.  I've been wanting to try Toni's since it opened earlier this year but hadn't gotten around to it.  This weekend my girlfriend threw me a surprise birthday party and she got pizza from Toni's.  We had two pizzas: cheese and pepperoni (both stuffed).  They were AMAZING.  Seriously.  Really, really good.  Everyone at the party loved it as well.  There was also cake, cupcakes, chips, and alcohol.  We had leftovers from everything except the pizza (save one slice that my gf snuck into the fridge for me to eat later before it was gone).  The sauce tasted fresh, the cheese was very good quality and not over- or underdone, and the crust was also amazing.  Compared with other stuffed pizzas, it was thinner, especially along the outer edge where places like Giordano's and Edwardo's have about a 1/2" of dough that you have to chew through.

Go here (or have them deliver).

I'm a die-hard southside Chicagoan, so when it comes to pizza I try not to waiver from my favorite places.  The main reason I'm giving a 5 star is everything was fresh and I really appreciate the attention to quality.  I won't say the Pizza made me fall off my chair, but excellent toppings (Spinach) and not greasy I actually felt it was a very healthy and more importantly tasty option.

Also, got the wheat pasta with meatballs - Again very good sauce, fresh meatballs, and not heavy or greasy.

Got the organic salad and it tasted like I was back in California.

Cheers to the Toni Team for caring a ton about quality, healthy options, and most importantly excellent tasting food.

The delivery person was a very friendly person and that was a nice surprise.

Toni's is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. It's a very pleasant experience dining in, or getting something to go. I live a block away which is even better. I stopped in one day to have a sandwich and was impressed with the construction and the flavors, everything was just that good. At that time they hadn't rolled out pizzas, but they were talking about it and I was just thinking.. I bet they will be good.

I wasn't disappointed. I ordered one of the personal size pan pizzas, just cheese and sausage and man was it good. Everything from the sauce, not too sweet, not too tangy and the cheese, mmm good and the crust.. I love pizza crust, all thicknesses and varieties. I wasn't disappointed here either.

This place has nothing but good things in store for it!

One of my companies branch locations is about 1/2 mile from Toni's place.  Whenever I get sent to work at that branch, I know I'm going to have a GREAT lunch!  Toni's sandwiches are amazingly fresh and tasty.  Their personal size pizza's are delicious and don't take an hour to make like some other places.  The key to this places success lie in the owners and the fresh ingredients.  Family owned and operated.  Wonderful fresh, high quality ingredients.  Keep up the good work!!  See you soon!!!
