This is a very large store with a wide selection of ski and snowboard equipment and related clothing. This is their bread and butter. However, when it starts to warm up the bring out the mountain bikes, and golf equipment.
As a local, I can only give it a 3 for floor staff and all around feel while shopping, but the average person would definitely give it a four. Keep in mind though, this is *the* place to get your skis tuned/fitted for boots.
Some staff are knowledgeable, but a majority of the young sales people tend to stand around and chat rather than point you to the right section of the store (you're getting paid, and can go back to your convo in five seconds).
For anyone looking to see a lot of ski gear under one roof, or to get fitted for ski boots, this definitely the place to go; it's one of the best in the Ottawa region.
Note: They have twice yearly warehouse sales in a business park: In summer they clear out winter gear, and in winter they clear out bikes and golf equipment. -
