I've been buying tires from Dan at Togo for a few years now and I'm sold on doing business here. Originally, I needed a good used tire and found Togo via the yellow pages. It turned out Togo sells new tires too. A few years later, I have now bought 3 sets for 3 different cars. In each case my satisfaction level with Togo and the tires has been far higher than all of my previous replacement tire purchase experience. The reason is, I am never at the mercy of a large merchandiser of tires, because Togo does not display or promote particular brands of tires. Using my own research resources (e.g. http://www.Tirerack.com), I narrow my tire choice down to 2 or 3 tire brands/models, then I ask Dan to comment and price them out. Usually, when I check, his prices are as good as any other Calgary source for the same products and his advice is valuable, because he is not wedded to any brands. And Dan always does exactly what he says he will do, promptly, and does not forget important details. As long as Togo Tire doesn't get too big it will stay #1 with me.

togo tire was started in april of 1985 by dan @ clayton spencer.
a father @ son team that continued until 1994 when clayton spencer retired. dan spencer has been running togo tire ever since with some excellant employees to back him up.
