In my dreams I find myself on a toy store tour of the globe.
And in that dream, the ultimate and final stop is this world-class gem in the exchange district.
There's an art to putting together a top-notch toy store. You have to make sure that there's something uniquely fun and entertaining for all ages and all personality types. Toad Hall perfectly appeals to everyone from the simplest child to the grown up supergeek.
It's all beautifully arranged. There's a section on touchy-feely tactile toys. There are stuffed animals and puppets. There are areas of the store dedicated to space aged robotic contraptions. There are places for those who are really into magical ponies. And then there's the absolute best model railroad center within a thousand miles.
And although it is large without being overwhelming, It's still extremely difficult to browse here without being compelled to buy something. And it's extremely difficult to make that selection... there's just too much amazing. This place is like an extremely well curated FAO Schwartz... every toy is hand selected for it's uniqueness, creative strength and pure fun.
In a city where children of all ages have to find inventive ways to stay warm in the winter, this spectacular store rises to the challenge and knocks it out of the park. A must see. -

Great toy store alternative to going to Toys 'r Us. This place has a lot of cute toys for kids and even some adults. It's more of an old school toy store, you won't really find Barbies or video games there but there's a lot of offerings that kids will love because it'll actually allow them to use their imagination!
The staff are okay, I can't say they've been super attentive but it gives you time to just browse without someone hovering over you.Listed in: The best in the Exchange

I have gone there to roam during lunch.
It's like a kids store for adults (oh, and kids).
Take your kids there - they'll love it and love you for it.
