Best. Wings. Ever.
'nuff said. :)
TKO's is the only place that you can count on for awesome food, the best wings (double cooked - fried and grilled) .. they are perfection. Lurve this place! -

TKOs is a very accessible neighborhood pub. We like to stop here on a weeknight for a couple of pints and a quick dinner. It is super convenient-- being located right in front of Coxwell station it's easy to get to on a cold winter night. They have an extensive menu with an interesting mix of pub food, casual Italian and Greek...but don't expect any microbrews.
Their selection of burger toppings is long and interesting. My husband once said he ate "one of the best burgers he ever had here" and I appreciate that every burger can be substituted with a veggie patty and comes with delicious coleslaw.
The service and food can be somewhat hit or miss. Usually right on, but there is occasionally an off day. I guess the best servers and chefs always need a day off. -

My new response to "Where should I watch ____ sport or Olympics?" is going to be TKO's. There are about ten TVs in here and each one is tuned to a different sporting event. You won't miss a second of coverage if you come here at the right time.
Everything is oddly priced (ending in .97 or .22, etc.), presumably to round out to an even dollar amount. There are wings, nachos, burgers and other, typical pub fare here. They have many beers on tap but none of them are that good so don't come here looking for artisanal beer.
It was painfully evident that our server hated his job, but what he lacked in friendliness or hospitality he made up for in basic efficiency and accuracy. There aren't many vegetarian options on the menu but I did spot a note saying "We have a veggie burger" (no price) so I ordered it. With my extensive experience eating Lick's burgers at home and at the retail stores, I'm fairly positive it's what I had here, and I have no qualms about that, since Lick's veggie burgers are universally loved by all of humanity. -

Good local sports bar. Tonnes of TVs but they gotta spring for the HD.
Burgers and nachos are tops. -

i was not impressed with the attitude of the staff member i met at this venue. i was searching for a beverage before last call and ran across this venue as those nearby me had already closed.
despite the the door being unlocked, the person to the side told me "sorry...we're closed. it's after 2 o'clock." in informed him it wasn't as it was 1:50am and as the door shut he said "you know what?...".
i opened the door again to get his feedback. "maybe you if you meant something you would come earlier".
i had money in my pocket and simply wanted a couple beer to finish the night...enough to pay the wages of the bartender. this attitude is NOT welcoming. i owe this bar nothing and was treated like i do.
if you are closed then lock the door. don't treat me like an unwanted person if the door is open...and before 2am.
i will never go back to this location.
