The quality of the work is good, however my problem is with the turnaround time on the job.
I had a straightforward paint job to repair cosmetic damage ($1500 ICBC claim) with a 3-day estimate that turned into a job lasting over two weeks, with three redo's, that boosted the total claim to over $3500.
Tip Top Collission missed multiple self-imposed deadlines, to the point where it almost became a joke. Everyday they asked for one more day, missing a total of 5 deadlines. At one point they finally said "well have your car tomorrow" so I drove down, at the end of the business day to pick it up. It wasn't ready.
I think it was a scheduling problem, they didn't prioritize my job, or they didn't have enough capacity to complete the jobs they were taking on. I wouldn't trust their time estimates again. In the meantime, I was stuck with a *old* beat up junker of a car as my complimentary rental during the term... not impressed.
