Tin Box is one of my favorite stores ever! I wish I knew its owner, so that I could come up to him or her and shake their hand!
Tin Box is the first thing that comes to my mind when I need to go shopping for home accessories. What haven't I bought at Tin Box? The answer is "Nothing". All my picture frames, place mats, bathroom and kitchen accessories are from this amazing store.
There are two Tin Box locations- one on White Avenue and one on 124 street shopping block. Both are good, but personally I find that the 124th street location is less often sold out of the items I am looking for, so naturally I go to this location more often.
Every time I shop at Tin Box, I feel like a kid in a candy shop: I want, I need, I gotta have everything! They sell quality items which look rather high-end. The wine racks are fantastic, the serving bowls are chic, the picture frames are to die for, the wall clocks are funky and unique. All of these wonderful attributes come with the hefty price tag, of course. But if you buy a good quality item, it will last you a long time. And your home will be pretty:)
Tin Box on 124th street is a two-storied one. The basement level houses all the home accessories, while the first floor is predominated by soaps, candles and, surprisingly, jewellery. I have a friend who buys most of her jewellery here, and she gets lots of compliments on its uniqueness. I might look into buying something for myself next time.
P.S. The customer service is always great.

Quirky? Yes. Stylish? Even more so. And affordable? Ding-ding-ding! This High Street highlight has all of the trendy home decoration I'm looking for.

I've picked up a few wall decorations from this location of Tin Box (there's on Whyte, too), and the nice thing is, things aren't overly priced here. If I want to redecorate in a couple of years, I won't have to hang onto an expensive piece I don't like anymore.

Even better than their selection of homey type stuff is their selection of gifts. I always come here when someone is having a birthday. They've got cute things that are, again, quirky, but without being too weird or out-there or unusable.

But I think my favourite part has to be the kitchen section. My kitchen is teeny-tiny, but that doesn't mean I can't jam-pack it with gadgets, tools, and marinades and spices.

I don't make it over to High Street as often as I like (wouldn't it be nice if it were along the LRT line?) but I always make a point to visit Tin Box when I do.

I love the Tin Box, it's a really great store with unique items. There are two locations in Edmonton - this one off High Street is a less busy than the other location on Whyte Ave.

There are variety of gifts here from cute, to funky. Home decor, purses, kitchen supplies, a wide variety. One of my favourite items is the rubik's cube pepper grinder - so cool. If you're looking for something unique, or a great gift for someone this is a good store to stop off at.

Prices are a bit higher than shopping at Ikea, but the items here are unique. Plus it's an Albertan based company (there's also a location in Canmore) so you can feel good supporting a Canadian company.

This Tin Box is the newest location in the High Street district, and has been open for a couple months now. It's got the same neat items as the store on Whyte Ave, but this location has two levels. The first floor looks small, but there's a winding staircase that leads down to the rest of the shop, where most of their products are.

It's gifts galore at the Tin Box, where you can find cool items for just about anyone, from sushi plate sets and picture frames, to novelty books and bath products. I noticed in their jewelry section that they had one particular necklace designed by Courtney Cox and David Arquette, called the Butterfly necklace. It's very pretty; silver and delicate, with a small dainty butterfly pendant.

Their home gifts section includes food items like marinade sauces, and I actually picked one up before as a gift. I think it was a teriyaki sesame sauce. Anyway, it was really good, nothing like the stuff you get at grocery stores, and my chef uncle ended up using the whole bottle in no time at all.

Tin Box is a really cool store. When you first enter the store looks kind of small but they have a downstairs which carries the majority of their stuff.

They carry a lot of cool home decor but the best is the cool little gifts you can find here. They have cool sushi sets, picture frames, kitchen accessories and much more. I have found that it is actually a really good place to buy housewarming gifts. The stuff they carry is really unique and I found some things that I wouldn't even think of getting for someone as a gift, like the sushi sets.

Obviously you can buy all these things for yourself but it was a life savor for me when I needed to find some cool gifts.

Smaller than the Whyte Avenue location, this Tin Box outlet sells a variety of household goods, toys, and gifts (but with a smaller selection than the other store). A great addition to High Street, it's worth checking out.

The Tinbox is an interesting mix of items for your home and unique gifts. There are two locations, one on Whyte Ave and this location on Highstreet. This location has two levels. The store carries kitchen gifts such as specialty spices and marinades, sushi dish sets and serving trays. They also have a lot of novelty books, bath products and some very pretty pieces of jewelry. This location has less of children's gifts and handbags than the Whyte Ave store. Heath and I found some great place mats and a table runner to match here and really enjoyed drooling over all the kitchen goodies! We bought some flavored oil and I can't wait to find some great bread to try it with. This is a great place to check out if you are looking for a decorative treasure for your house or a gift for a friend that will stand out!
